Chapter Fifty five .. president of Jenkins jewelry design

"Ma'am ,where are we going to ? "The cab driver asked Joan .

"Take me to Claremont ,how far is it away from here ? "Joan asked the cab driver .

"Ma'am , it's just thirty three minutes from here . We've got seventeen more minutes to go ."The driver said .

"Alright ,take me to Adele resident ."Joan said to the driver .

At the Jenkins mansion , Nicholas and Stephanie talked about what they will do to help Eloise out .

"Your coffee Nick .Let me give you a neck massage ,you look very tired ."Stephanie prepared a cup of coffee for her husband Nicholas and moved on to give him a back massage ."Nick ,do you think we can be good parents to our daughter someday ? Do you think a time will come when she will accept as our parents ? "Stephanie asked with a dull face .

"Hmm! my dear ,I'm just hoping that our daughter gets to love us too .

I plan on making her the president of the Jenkins Jewelry Designs tomorrow .You know the main reason we decided to go into jewelry designing when our finances were stable was because of her .We thought that if one day we find her ,then we will surprise her with the diamonds she always played with when she was a baby .

I remember she'd hold on to your diamond necklace everyday and until you give it to her to play with ,she won't stop crying for it .

While she was at Cooperatives of Jewelry Designs ,she was their highest paid designer because her designs were exceptional like no one's .

After Jakes married her ,she became the vice president of Cooperatives of Jewelry Designs until she left Jakes because of their problems .

I know she'd be a good president for our company just like her sister Eloise was , especially now that we are expanding Jenkins Jewelry Designs in the Asian countries .

I forgot to show you this ,we are now the second richest family in Los Angeles and plus ,our design company is topping at the second roll on all billboards . "Nicholas broke the good news to Stephanie who hugged and cuddled his neck .

Just then ,the door bell rings "Ding ding " One of the maidservants went to get the door .

"Nick ,are you expecting anyone this late in the evening ? "Stephanie asked .

"Of course not .Just to clear your doubts ,why don't we go and see who is at the door ?"They both went out of their room and just as they were about to descend , Stephanie stopped Nicholas .

"Nick ,that lady .I know her ,she was at the party earlier tonight at the Riddles .What was her name again ? "Stephanie pointed to her .

"Joan ,her name is Joan ."Nicholas said to Stephanie .

"Yeah Joan .Hey Ave ,let her in , she's our guest ."Stephanie signalled the maid and she let Joan in .

"Thanks .."Joan said to Ave .

"Over here Joan ,come up here ."Stephanie said in excitement and Joan walked gently upstairs .

"Good evening ma'am and you too uncle .Sorry for bothering you this late in the night .I'm so sorry .." Joan said to Nicholas and Stephanie .

"Heyyy , it's enough now .I will have Ave prepare the guest room for you .I guess you are here to see Eloise . Probably , it's not us haha .."Stephanie joked .

"Well actually ma'am ,you are right .I'm here to see Eloise .

But if she's asleep , don't worry ,I can come back tomorrow .

I just wanted to check up on her after what happened at the party tonight .You know ,we were both good friends before .

You won't believe this but I was actually the intermediator of she and Jakes .That actually caused me to move from Lennox City to Beverly Hills..hehe "Joan said and they all laughed over it .

Eloise who was sobbing bitterly in her room heard the laughs and decided to go check on what was really going on .

She stood at her door and saw her parents with their guest laughing all ways out .

"Haha ..haha ..during those times ,Eloise was so small and innocent .

I remember when I made a fake board and placed it in the middle of the road to Beverly Hills from Santa Monica that the road had been blocked .

Eloise had to drive back to Santa Monica and Renata , she lied that because her boyfriend was coming over ,she couldn't take Jakes in ,haha .

Do you know the most interesting part ? We did all this just so we could bring Eloise and Jakes together .

Well ,our efforts yielded a good result because the next day ,all we heard was that they were both getting married .

So Inno ,Renata ,Chance Hamilton and myself went to Santa Catalina island to bear witness to the wedding .

Look ,I even clicked so many photos of both of them together .

Have a look at them .."Joan showed the photos to Nicholas and Stephanie who were very excited at looking at them .

"Nick ,see our daughter .She looked really beautiful in that gown ,I wish I was there to witness her wedding ceremony .

Oh God ,they both looked so cute and full of life at that time .

Is it okay if I save these pictures to my phone ? "Stephanie asked Joan after falling in love with the pictures .

"I have no problem ma'am .There are even more ,look at these pictures too ,that was when Eloise won Miss .Los Angeles for the jewelry design competition .

And this was when ,we all went to Hawaii for a vacation.

Jakes organized this vacation .Look at this one too ,Jakes and Eloise went for a biking expedition at Denmark and they later went to France for a hiking expedition .

Look at this picture too ,it was Eloise's 23rd birthday celebration and guess where we celebrated it ,China of all places .

It was fun ,they both practiced Kung Fu together and this is the tasty crunchy cockroach cuisine they offered us for dinner .
