Chapter 147..messy room

"I'm happy that she's now the endorser of La Tanya Fashion Design and Collections .

The thing is ,I don't even know how to congratulate her on this .

I want to do something for her , something which will make her know that no matter what , Josette and I are always there for her .

You know what Ma ,you are right ,I will invite her over for dinner ."When Sonya flipped the pages of the magazine to look at the pictures of Suzzy ,the door bell rang .

"Don't worry Ma ,I will get it ."Sonya opened the door and was surprised to see the one at the door .

"Surprised ?! "Suzzy leaned with crossed legs against the door .

"Mona ? Oh my God ,tell me I'm dreaming ."

"You ain't dreaming Sonya Mills , now can I come in or what ?

My legs are already hurting .."Suzzy said .

"Wait a minute Miss Endorser , who's luxurious car is that ? "Sonya went round admiring the brand new Aston Martin Victor that was parked right in front of her house .

"Daddy's ! I actually borrowed it and promised him not to drink-drive again .

By the way ,let me get some things from the car itself before I forget ."While Suzzy got some bags from her car ,Sonya was busily taking pics with the car .

"At least ,help me Sonya .We will take the pics later ."Suzzy said handing over to Sonya one of the bags .

"By the way Mona ,you know ? In this area , luxurious cars like this don't come here so if I'm taking my selfie then let me be .

Anyways ,are these groceries ? Thanks alot ,they smell good too .

Let's go inside ,Ma and Pa must be waiting .."Sonya and Suzzy went inside her house .

"So welcome to my humble abode , it's really small but I hope you like it .

Ma ! Pa ! Guess who's here to see us today ?

It's Mona ,the new endorser of La Tanya Fashion Design and Collections and my good friend .

She even brought us some groceries ,you should check them out .We have some garden peas and cereals too ,your breakfast won't be one way anymore ,you know ? "Sonya said while unpacking the groceries on the table .

"Hello aunty Stella ! Hello uncle Mauro ! I'm so happy to see you both ."Suzzy said politely .

"My dear , we've been wanting to see you since a very long time .

After you were discharged from the hospital ,we decided to come visit you but Sonya told us that you were on a trip so we held back .

I'm so happy to see you ,Sonya keeps saying alot of good things about you and I'm so happy that my daughter has a friend like you .

We were inviting you for dinner but since you've come now ,I will go and prepare something for you so that you eat .

I know it can't pay for all the favours you've done for us but at least ,I hope it makes you feel at home ."Stella said rising to her feet .

"No aunty ,please don't worry yourself at all ,I will surely come have dinner with you but for now ,please don't stress out yourself .

I really don't want to be a bother ,aunty ."Suzzy politely said again .

"My dear ,your aunty is like that .Even if you persist ,she will surely do what she's set up her mind to do .

I think you should allow her to make you feel at home ,at least it's the least we can do for you to show our gratitude .

You've been of great help to us my dear .."Mauro seconded his wife's nice gestures towards Suzzy .

"Just wait for ten minutes ,I will prepare you the Italian Spaghetti made with fresh salmons and tomatoes ."Stella rushed to the kitchen to prepare something for Suzzy .

"Hey Mona ! Have some water since it's been a long day and leave my mum to prepare you the family's favourite .

No matter how you persist ,she wouldn't take 'no ' for an answer .

She's like that only ,so stubborn ! "

"Thanks Sonya ,you shouldn't have troubled yourself by going to the store to get me bottle water .

I'm cool with everything and I love everything in your house ."Suzzy said throwing her eyes about .

"Come and let me show you my room .."Sonya and Suzzy matched to Sonya's room .

As soon as Suzzy saw how messy Sonya's room was ,she giggled recalling her life when she used to be in Belton .

Though her room was three times bigger than Sonya's and had her personal bathroom with shower , Sonya's room looked cute to get appeal .

"Mona ,so sorry this room is messy ,I will clean it up .

You know ? Ma always arranges this place for me because I always mess it up .

Alright ,all set and done . Welcome to Sonya Mill's room Miss Riddles .This is all there is in my room ; my mini bed ,my study table , mirror and wardrobe and of course my and my family's photographs .

And if you want the washroom , it's on the left side in the living room .

We all use the same washroom and bathroom and mind you , it's neither shower nor jacuzzi ,we fetch the water from the tap into a bucket and then use it to bath ."

"Sonya ,you remind me of my childhood too ,when I used to mess my room up .

Your room and your entire house is nice and I love your pictures especially that of your childhood with your parents ,they are nice.

Ha! why should I be surprised ? You are a picture fun after all .

Can we take a selfie together in your room ? "Suzzy's words shocked Sonya since she was using her term .

"Woow ! now you are a pic lover ,too ? Alright , let's set it on fire .."Suzzy and Sonya took numerous pics together till they were fun-filled .

After sometime ,Stella called them up to come and have their meals .

"Aunty ,I love your food ,you are really a good cook .

I will surely come back again to taste your food again ."Suzzy complimented Stella in the tantalizing food she had prepared for them .
