Chapter 129..wake up

"So finally ,the two love birds have come together and all this is because of you Joan Myers .

Thank you so much for not giving up on Eloise .."Renata said happily .

"For me ,helping those two is nothing other than greater love .

Thank you to for not giving up on Jakes .."Joan said to Renata happily .Through out the whole night Jakes and Eloise stayed in the hospital waiting for Suzzy to wake up while the others went home to take rest as per Jakes' and Eloise's wish .

The next morning at around five o'clock in the morning ,Josette and Sonya arrived at the hospital where Jakes and Eloise were sitting on the guest chair in the reception .

Eloise had slept off relaxing her head on Jakes' shoulders .

"Good morning Aunty ! Good morning Uncle ! "Josette and Sonya chorused their greetings and it caused Eloise to wake up from her sleep .

"Heyyy ,you girls are already here ? It's just two minutes pass five in the morning .

How sure am I that you both slept well during the night ?

You girls shouldn't stress out yourself alright and besides you both have to go to college ,right ? "Eloise asked both Sonya and Josette .

"Don't worry about us aunty , we've got everything scheduled and planned out .Our first class is at nine o'clock and so we have much time before us .

Besides aunty ,being an Italian , I'd like to greet you properly with our Expresso Coffee .

One for you and one for Uncle too , my mum sent it for you both and my dad sends his greetings to you both ."Sonya handed over the cup of coffee to both Jakes and Eloise .

"Thanks alot girls and please do well to extend our greetings to your parents ,okay ? "Eloise said .

"Sure aunty but since Sonya and I are now here ,it means that you both should go home and change .

Don't worry about anything ,we will cover up for you till you both return ."Josette said .

After a while ,Jakes gave in to their demands and he and Eloise went home to change so that they cover up in their absence .

Once they returned ,Sonya and Josette left for college to prepare ahead of class .

Dora and Eloise's parents arrived few minutes later too and Joan ,Inno and Renata followed right after to .

"What's that noise about ? "Nicholas asked when outside the hospital was a bit too noisy .

"It's the media persons ,they want to know what happened to Suzzy and that's why they are here .

Don't worry ,I will take care of them .."Renata said and left to attend to the journalists .

"Inno ,talk to Morris to take care of what the bloggers and the media persons write about my daughter's case .

They shouldn't publish any nonsense about the issue especially about the fact that she was drank driving .

Joan , I've spoken to the senior inspector of the police force in Wrightwood and I want you to make sure that they don't come here to question my daughter .

She's not in the perfect situation to answer their questions ."Jakes dispersed the duties among them .

"It's good that you are taking care of such things son .That way ,the gossip publishers wouldn't have much to say about my granddaughter's case ."Dora shrugged .

While waiting at the reception about any news concerning Suzzy's health , Doctor Madeline Miller came to inform them about Suzzy's health .

"What now doctor ? Has my daughter woken up or made any advances towards getting well ? "Eloise asked expecting positive news from the doctor .

"As at now ,she hasn't woken up from her coma but I can assure you that the medicines that we are administering to her is having great effect on her .

She's responding positively to the medicines though we have to run some preliminary tests on her .

The good news is ,you can go and see her in pairs .

I will take my leave now .."Doctor Madeline Miller excused herself and went to check on her other patients .

"You both go and see your daughter ,we will go later to check up on her ."Stephanie said and Eloise and Jakes not wasting any more time wore their scrubs and went to check up on Suzzy .

Eloise broke down into tears as soon as she saw her daughter lying on the bed being supported by the medical ventilator in her breathing with the IV drip in her veins and her neck brace supporting her neck .

Her head was bandaged as a result of the injury she sustained on her head and her long eyelashes which were gently relaxed on her face with her closed eyes made her face look like an angel .

"So sorry baby ,so sorry for all the pain you are going through .

It's all my fault , everything is just my fault but I promise you that once you wake up ,I will make it up to you .I will never do anything to hurt you again ,I promise .

Please wake up baby ,wake up !"Eloise cried out loud .

"Calm down Lolly ,she will surely wake up because she's a fighter , a real fighter .

She's done it before and I know that this time too ,she will pull through .

I promise you that once she wakes up ,we will take her to the best physiotherapist to take care of her .Both of us will only give her happiness and her eighteenth birthday will be a memorable one .

That's why you need to wake up princess ,because when you do so , everything will be alright .

Come on ,you can't keep on sleeping like that ,you will have to wake up and vent your anger on us because it's all because of our bad decisions that you are in this state .

You need to wake up or else the score will be one against zero and I know you don't like losing so wake up princess , you've got to wake up and we've got to live together like a family ,a complete family ."Jakes said to his daughter .

Once Jakes and Eloise were done checking up on Suzzy , her grandparents came checking up on her too .
