It's Tsuka's Time To Shine!

I've learned that Dungeon Cores and Dungeon Masters could buy monsters/minions through the use of DP.

The stronger the monster, the higher the DP you needed to summon them.

I wonder how much DP would Tsuka cost if she was a dungeon monster?

(Shun's POV)

So, based on what Rokuko said, I could go out there, incapacitate all of them, then go from there. It looks like we can't really change the dungeon's layout when there's an intruder so we'll need to kick them out before doing anything.

However, I don't want to do that. Instead, I have a better idea.

Why don't we just teleport my familiar, Tsuka, inside the dungeon and let her do the work? She's a Vorpal Bunny after all.

"So, Shun? Do you have any plans?"

"Yep, I have one. Wait, I'm gonna summon my friend and we can let her do her thing…"

"Okaaay… How are you gonna summon your friend? Just so you know, the Gacha summoning is random."

Hmm? Did she think I would use the Gacha?

"No, I wouldn't use the Gacha. Just watch… Hey, Tsuka, you can come out now."

"Who are you talking to Shun? Is your head alright?"

I ignored Rokuko's words and summoned my spirit familiar, the Vorpal Bunny Tsuka. She appeared out of thin air without any fanfare.

After a small gust of wind, a little white bunny with light green eyes and some light green colors on its body appeared in front of me. It then tilted its head before letting out a small squeak.

"Squeak?"

"Hey, Tsuka. It's been a while since we played, huh. Sorry if I got you holed up for too long."

"Squeak!"

Because of our connection, I could understand what she is saying. Basically, what she told me was, "Where? Master?" and, "It's all, right!"

"You're such a good girl Tsuka. Come here, let me pet you."

"Squeak~! Master is best~."

While I am conversing with my cute bunny familiar, Rokuko suddenly intervened.

"Is this the friend you are talking about, Shun? Also, what are you talking about since earlier? You've been squeaking a lot!"

"Oh, that? I was just talking to my friend here. Meet Tsuka. She is my uh, spirit bonded tamed monster. Tsuka, this is Rokuko, a Dungeon Core…"

I assume she doesn't know what a familiar is so I just put it like that.

"Squeak! Nice to meet you!"

"Is that so? This guy certainly look like she's a unique monster or something. Is she strong? She doesn't look like that to me…"

"She is strong. Just wait. Okay, Tsuka, could you go outside and incapacitate those bad guys outside?"

"Squeak, squeak~! I understand, master!"

(Bandit Boss's POV)

"Boooss! Wake uuup!"

"Ngggh… What's up?"

The boss of the bandits woke up in the cave and saw a cute little bunny in front of him. Was this thing here yesterday? Nah, no way. I woulda saw it before sleepin'.

"The hell is this thing? Where'd it come from?"

"We dunno, boss. Rodrige was on guard and he said nobody brought it inside or nothin'."

"So what yer saying is… It just poofed and appeared in the middle of this cave like magic?"

"Er… I guess so?"

"Squeak~!"

The bandit boss investigated the little bunny, while the bunny seemingly investigated him as well. Hey, did this little fluffball just wave its hands at me!?

"Heh, this thing is pretty nice. It looks kinda small and cute. Would probably taste good for dinner…"

"Boss, is it jus me or that bunny just became angry at us or somethin'?"

"Eh? The hell are you sayin'? Are you drunk? Hey, Brakin! Come here and pick up this rabbit. It's been some time since we ate meat!"

"You got it, boss! Come here now liiiittle bunny~…"

Just as the boss passed the job of catching the bunny to his subordinate so that they could have a sumptuous dinner, something unbelievable happened.

The gosh darned bunny was suddenly shrouded with light and, when the light disappeared, everyone saw that it is now holding a pair of what seems to be a white and green dagger. Its head, on the other hand, got covered in what seems to be a helm made of dragon skull.

The light green eyes that could be seen over its helmet are even flashing with dangerous looking light green lightnings.

"Oi Brakin! What the f*ck did you just do?"

"I dunno boss! It suddenly glowed and became like that."

"Boss, I have a bad feeling about this bunny!"

As they looked at the bunny with wariness, the one of the bandit boss's subordinate suddenly exclaimed.

"Ah! Wait a second, boss! I used to be an adventurer, and I remember that this is a dungeon called [Ordinary Cave]! This must be the dungeon monster!"

"Really, Johnny?!" The boss of the bandits was stunned.

There was a glowing stone sticking out of the ground that was perfect for warming feet. He just realized that might, in fact, be a Dungeon Core.

According to his subordinate, this dungeon should only be spawning Goblins. What happened? Why is there a bunny here that spawned?

Not only that, but this bunny looks absolutely terrifying. Compared to the five Goblins that they slaughter before they occupied this cave, this one looks absolutely scary.

Thinking about it now, why didn't he realize earlier that they are in a dungeon? If he did, they wouldn't be in such a pickle at the moment.

"Umm, boss… I hate to break it down to ya but it looks like we're completely screwed. This little rabbit ain't jokin' with us…"

"I know it ya bastard. Do you think I'm blind or somethin'!? Anyone with a functionin' pair of eyes clearly see that it's hostile to us right now ya piece of turd!"

Although dungeons are very well known for having many hidden treasures inside, they are more well known for claiming the lives of many adventurers. Powerful monsters could be lurking anywhere and traps might just kill you in one fell swoop if you're not careful.

This is the first time he heard of a dungeon only having one floor but houses a really dangerous looking monster inside.

Even before anyone could make a run for it, the bunny on which they viewed as their dinner just moments earlier suddenly showed its fangs at them before disappearing from their sights.

"GAAAAHHH! Shun! I changed my mind, kill these people! How dare they step on my heart! Grrr!"

Currently, we're inside the Master Room, watching what was happening through a monitor. The reason why Rokuko is so worked up was because, when I tried out to see what's happening inside the dungeon through the Dungeon Core, I saw a gruesome sight of a dirty feet.

It turns out that these bandits hadn't figured out that the thing that their boss is stepping on is a Dungeon Core. They were using it in place of a foot warmer.

The Dungeon Core glowed faintly and was just a little warm. The boss of the bandits had built his bed in the Core room and was putting his feet on it as he slept.

I learned that we could look directly out of the Master Room, but after trying it out, an entire wall turned into a closeup of a dirty foot. Naturally, it was terrible.

The reason why Rokuko is so upset was because she is the physical form of the Dungeon Core and it's like her heart. How would you feel after seeing that your heart is being stepped on by an extremely dirty feet?

Our lovable blonde princess knight had gotten teary-eyed after realizing that her heart was being trampled by stinky-looking feet. Honestly, she gets cuter the more time I spend with her.

I spent some more time investigating the menu and learned that I could look into the dungeon from basically any angle I wanted by using the existing walls and ceilings.

I could peer into the dungeon from the ceilings of the hallways, the floors of the rooms, and basically any wall. By the way, Rokuko hadn't known about that.

Not surprising. There's not much need for advanced reconnaissance when your dungeon only has one room.

"That aside, Rokuko, I thought we could earn 10 DP everyday aside from the DP we earn from having intruders inside our dungeon?"

"Oh, right, I totally forgot to mention that. Right now, the 10 DP we're earning from the ground doesn't count."

"Hmm? Why not?"

Her explanation about DP hadn't mentioned anything about intruders getting in the way of drawing DP from the ground.

"Well, it costs some DP for me to maintain this form."

Speaking of which, Rokuko had mentioned that she was the physical form of the Dungeon Core or something like that.

"Could you save us some DP by vanishing or something?"

"Eh? No, you're misunderstanding something. This is just a special form I use when I want to look fancy. I didn't want the monster I summoned to look down on me."

"In other words, that's just a temporary form… Oh, can you go back to your normal form, then? We're kinda low on DP, after all."

"Eh? It's not 'temporary' or anything, but okay. One second… Nnn!"

Rokuko flashed brightly, and then where she once stood was a blonde loli that looked just like a younger Rokuko. She was wearing a white dress and would only reach my waist even if she stood on her tippy-toes.

She looked so small and cute a lolicon would be drooling at the sight of her. Even her childishly spoiled gaze just made me smile as if I were looking at a rowdy kid.

Yep, I could tell that she and Miu does have the same temper. Once they meet, I bet they'll get along pretty well.

"So, what do you think? This is the low-energy form I use to save DP."

"Oh, that's your low-energy form, huh… You look really young."

"Hm? Well, I guess I do look like a child from a human's perspective. What, do you like this body more?"

Hey, I'm no lolicon! I'm not perverted enough to lay my hands on someone that looks like a little girl.

"So, now we're getting 10 DP again, is that right?"

"Uh-huh. 10 DP a day."

Well, I guess it's better than nothing. After we incapacitate these guys, I want to investigate the menu and the surroundings more after changing the inside of our dungeon.
