First Event: A Dog Hero's Diary

(Pochi's POV)

Pochi will not forget.

The taste of the first dried meat I eat. The happiness of eating the great hamburg-sensei with everyone.

Absolutely never forget.

That's why, when Mutsuko-oneechan said that we can get many MANY meat-sans if we eliminate enemies and become the top of the event, Tama and I became excited. Like, really really excited!

It's hamburg-sensei after all, nodesuyo? Pochi is sure that everyone understands that, desu.

Au au! Not good! Pochi is getting distracted nodesu! Pochi should focus nanodesu!

Ah! Enemies are approaching, nanodesu! Should I follow them, desu?

Oh, are they following that red blinking thing on the mee-nee map? The voice said that it is where one of the top three is.

Right, Maple-oneechan is also at the top three, nanodesuyo? She's really amazingly amazing, nanodesu.

Oh, Pochi is getting sidetracked nodesu. Acha~! The enemies left nanodesu. A shame, really a shame nodesu.

Since the other players already left, Pochi will just wait here and hide in the bushes. [Admin-sensei] taught me this, nodesuyo?

This is a pull-proof plan nanodesu. I will wait for many enemies to gather, then I 'see-see' them all before chopping them with my greatsword nodesu. [Admin-sensei] said that with my damage, I should be able to kill anyone who is unlucky enough to encounter me.

Why unlucky, though? Pochi heard from Kaede-oneechan that in some places on their world, black cats is unlucky but not black dogs, nanodesuyo? Pochi is not unlucky, for sure nanodesu.

Ah! Cats are also not unlucky, okay? Cats are cats and not unlucky, nanodesuyo?

(Third Person's POV)

After his brief encounter with Tama and falling off the rankings, Dread was in a very bad mood. He lost a third of his points and he's now a couple of hundred points below the fifth place.

"Tch. This was all because of that pesky pink girl! That motherf***ing squirt! Ahhh! I'm so f***ing tilted right now!" At this moment, he saw red.

If you ever saw his expression during this moment, you knew he will be out for revenge. He was so tilted that he began slashing at thin air out of fury.

Because of that single attack, his points dipped as he received a ton of damage from it. Not to mention that he also have a death now and a set of armor that's dwindling in durability.

A few minutes later, Dread finally calmed down slightly. Standing up, he ran towards the direction of the forest. It should be mentioned that he spawned at the grassy plains after he died.

Even though he was still furious, he didn't forget to look at his surroundings to check if there are enemies around. Many players recognize him, after all.

When he arrived at the outskirts of the forest, he sped up his traveling speed, even using some of his low cool down blink skills to hasten his travel.

"Just you wait you f***er! I'm not gonna be showing mercy just because you're young!"

The next moment, he heard a sudden loud BANG and something dropped from the sky. Accompanied by a hard CC is a massive damage that cut more than half of his HP immediately.

He almost sh** his pants in surprise when he noticed something drop from the sky, coming from his blind spot. When he saw who it was, he was even more surprised. This girl seems to be at the same age as the girl who killed him earlier.

"Halt, Mr. Enemy! Pochi apologizes in advance for your death, nanodesu! You won't actually die but… Umm… Anyway, Pochi will have many points by slashing you, nodesu!"

Dread was waiting for the CC to disappear but when it was just a millisecond before it disappeared, another hard CC was applied to him, stun and fear.

'What the actual f***!? What's with this hard AoE CC that she have!? Also, what's with the duration?' Dread have so many questions in his mind, like how does the girl apply such a massive damage on him with just a single CC skill but it looks like the girl is already finished with her own shenanigans.

"See you again Mr. Enemy. Yoi-to! There, bye bye nodesu!"

With a simple slash, the remaining HP on Dread's in-game avatar disappeared. That attack had too much damage that it even broke his armor.

Whilst he was disappearing, he heard something that made him blow his top.

"What was it that Rikka-oneechan told me to say after defeating a strong looking enemy nodesu? Ah, right! Your defeat to Pochi was inevitable… nanodesu!"

At the spectator stands, the audience was once again left speechless as they watched Dread, the previous number two in the rankings, drop dead. It seems like this is the guy's unlucky day as he came across two of the most broken characters in this event.

Anonymous Spectator: Is that a top player for real? He melted so fast…

Anonymous Spectator: For reals dude. Not to mention that he melted so fast in both encounters…

Anonymous Spectator: Don't forget to mention the BM posing and lines that he was at the receiving end of twice in a row! That was so hilarious!

Anonymous Spectator: His expression was that of depression and resignation by the end of it all, isn't it? Priceless!

Anonymous Spectator: "Your defeat to Pochi was inevitable … nanodesu!" — Pochi. Even when she was killing people, Pochi-chan didn't forget to be polite to her enemy… Pffft! HAHAHAHA!

Anonymous Spectator: Lololololololol!

Anonymous Spectator: xD. The entire course of event was absolutely hilarious. It was like when you accidentally encountered a last boss that killed you in one hit but then, after you respawn, you encountered another one who melted you instantly! So unlucky!

Anonymous Spectator: Pochi's surprise attack, chain CC, and damage is just so nutty man. If Dread was not higher leveled, he would've died like the others with just the AoE damage.

Anonymous Spectator: I didn't even know that there was a CC in that leap-like AoE skill of hers… Everyone died right after she landed on them. That is so OP.

Anonymous Spectator: I think it's considered an achievement that he lasted two hits against Pochi-chan? So far, he's the only person who could do that…

Anonymous Spectator: Uh-huh, he is the only person who's ever done that so far. He's also the first person to survive Tama's [Sakura Blade Storm] and it's initial one hit K.O damage.

Anonymous Spectator: Such a great achievement to have. He should be thankful that Pochi-chan and Tama-chan even bothered to kill him with how weak he is.

Anonymous Spectator: Guys, stop. He's a top player, you know?

Anonymous Spectator: Nah, I won't stop! You are the one who should stop, you f***er!

Anonymous Spectator: xD Chill dude. What do you not understand about sarcasm? Don't be such a snowflake.

Anonymous Spectator: Ignore him man. He's just the typical kid on the internet who thinks that people with the opposite opinion on his own is an enemy. They get butthurt easily, remember?

Anonymous Spectator: Yeah, I totally forgot.

(Pochi's POV)

I waited and waited patiently for a suitable prey to appear. It's a secret that Pochi killed everyone who passed by this place, okay?

When I saw an enemy, I immediately jumped in the air and landed in front of enemy-san, coming from on top of his head.

"Halt, Mr. Enemy! Pochi apologizes in advance for your death, nanodesu! You won't actually die but… Umm… Anyway, Pochi will have many points by slashing you, nodesu!" Pochi's not lying nodesuyo? Strong looking people gives more points, nanodesu!

Oh? He looks like he's surprised nanodesu.

It's as expected nodesu. Everyone have the same expression when they encountered Pochi.

Pochi understands nodesu. Pochi was also scared when [Admin-sensei] taught this to me, desu. Un un! It was sooo surprising, nanodesuyo?

Oh! Right, right! The enemy-san.

"See you again Mr. Enemy. Yoi-to! There, bye bye nodesu!"

When I slashed that mister, I suddenly remembered something important. Pochi forgot to do that pose!

Au! How could Pochi forget that awesome pose!

Oh, wait, enemy-san is not gone yet so I could do that pose! It should be, plant your left feet to the front, place my great sword to my right shoulder using my right hand, and then, and then… Ummm… Look at the enemy with an angry expression?

That should be it!

What was it that Rikka-onee han told me to say after defeating a strong looking enemy nodesu? Ah, right!

"Your defeat to Pochi was inevitable… nanodesu!"
