Chapter one

Her name is Ling mei her father and mother owns the biggest company in the world. Her two sisters Ling fan and Ling huan are older then she am. Ling fan owns the biggest jewelry store that everyone comes for her advice about everything she blogs about everything and dotes on her every now and then. Ling huan owns many clothing store and is sometimes on business whether to a wedding or even a fashion show she is always busy.

She is always there for them if they do need anything. She always sneak out every now and then to get away from her family. She doesn't tell them about everything that she does, and sometimes sneak past her body guards that do guard me like every single day. Even though her family has a lot of money and they are rich she tend to not talk about her family because of how everyone else around her.

She has a double life outside of my family that no one knows off and sometimes have to disguise it. She work as one of the employees at a bookstore because she really love books. She sometimes tend to hide who she am from her coworkers and her name isn't Ling mei around them. The name she choosed ever since she wanted to become independent and she does have plans is Jie meilin.

If any of her family knew this she would feel the embarrassment and shame coming from her family. Chen biyu is the manager sometimes it's just them while everyone else goes on break. She said "Meilin you should take a break every now and then you're the only person who works so hard." Ling mei said to her "you can go on break I will be finished once everyone else comes back." She nods and goes on break. While everyone else gone and not many customers go on break she would ready comics. She always wanted to draw her own comics and wants to start her own business but would anyone understand her?

As it was almost time to leave she said goodbye to her coworkers. She already got her check and went to go deposit it after she was done she then spotted someone from afar. She then recognized who it was and it was Chen fanyu. She was in her disguise no way was she going to get caught by him.

Chen family owns the number one company in every country. Her father isn't happy about it because it's like he is second compared to the Chen family. When they were younger she had a crush on him and confessed her feelings. He said he would've preferred her sisters over her and called her ugly. Now that things have changed she doesn't want anything to do with him anymore.

She then sees that he was drunk and wondered about messing with him a bit. As she followed him and watch what he does he then turns around, trips, and falls on top of her. He was breathing heavily near her ear and began to bite her neck and kissed it. She then went into an apartment she owned and yes out of her own money. She pushed him to the bed, and he then kissed her passionately and ripped her shirt as he was wanting her more and more not knowing who she was.

He then took everything off and was at it all night. He then whispered her name "Ling mei I miss you...." and the slept on top of her. Her eyes widen and was thinking to herself 'what did he mean he miss me?' He held her close as they slept.

The next morning he worked up with a very bad headache. He put on his cloths and turned around slowly as he sees a person in his bed not knowing that it was her. He then leaves a note saying to call him In case she needed anything. He then walks out the door, and she wakes up knowing what she did but might not be able to tell him. When she did get home her father had something to say to her and her sisters' about an arranged engagement and it had to do with the chen family. The father sat down as the girls walked into his office sat down and said " Girls, I had just received a call from the chen's saying that one of you girls are going to be getting married to their son." My sister were screaming and all wondered who the lucky person was that he was going to marry.

The father had pointed to ling mei and she looked at her father and didn't want this because she knows chen fanyu doesn't like her and things might not be able to change. They looked at her in shock and knew the truth about his dislike towards her but chen fanyu does like them. She agrees and now was going to a dinner party that was held by the chen's and she heads to her room to get one of her new dresses that was given to her by their mother and it was a shiny golden dress and got her high heal that were made out of real gold and she dressed up with makeup, perfume, and jewelry.

She then gets into the limo with her family and heads to the party which was held in the fanciest place that no one was allowed to enter except for the higher ups like her family and more. As they walk through the doors every Chen family was there and she was rather nervous as he sees her and greets her with a kiss on the hand and is really red now. He led her to the dinner table and the rest of the family sat with them and he sat next to her. His father then raised a glass and said "To my son and my new daughter in law on their engagement congratulation!"
