Chapter 5: No, It's Rosalinda

Levi and Rosalinda came home to see their parents watching a movie and they sat with them.

' Our neighbors came earlier when you were out ' Stella said .

' Oh really ' Levi said.

' Mrs Bradley and her daughter Felicity, the child is so pretty, Rose, she's your age' she added and looked at her.

' I see ' Rosalinda replied.

' You can be friends and I heard you'll be attending the same school ' Stella said.

' That's okay ' Henry cautioned her and looked at Rosalinda with a pleading look.

' It's fine dad , since I'll be starting losing weight, I'll try something new, maybe being friends with her for a start.

Knock knock knock ...

' Who's it again at this time? ' Levi said and looked at the time, 7 pm, he started pressing his phone.

' I'll take the door again ' Stella said and went to the door

' Hi, mom said I should bring you this ' Felicity said holding a cake.

' Come in and have a sit '

Henry gestured her to have a sit and she sat opposite Rosalinda, Levi looked at Felicity and they said hi to each other and he went back to pressing his phone.

Meanwhile, Rosalinda sized her from head to toe and looked at her features from her very black hair to the color of her eyes, it was also black. 'are we the same height?, she really is pretty ' she thought.

' Hi, I'm Felicity '

' I'm Rosalinda '

' Can I call you Rose? '

' No, it's Rosalinda ' saying this, Stella pinched her and Rosalinda looked at her and mouthed ' what'

' Mr and Mrs Smith, I'll be going now '

' You don't have to be so formal, just call us aunty and uncle,right Henry? ' Stella looked at Henry and he nodded in approval.

' Please extend my greetings to your mom ' Henry said .

' Good night ' Felicity said and Stella replied though she expected everyone to reply but it seems the rest are busy with their stuff now, nonetheless, she exited their house.

' I'll be in my room ' Levi said before Stella could reprimand him.

' what about dinner ? ' Henry asked.

' I'll just have it in my room ' he replied.

After Stella locked the door, she said to Rosalinda, ' now, what was that about '

' the part where I told her not to call me Rose?

' only people who are close enough to me call me Rose '

'So much for being friends with her 'Stella said.

' I hope both of you get along well ' Henry said.

They all had dinner and went to sleep.

... 5 am ...

Levi went to Rosalinda's room and knocked.

' To hell with this thing ' he said, talking about the 'Restricted area' thing on her door. 'She put it up again ' he thought.

' Aren't you coming out, we don't want to waste time like yesterday '

' I'm coming, I need to get ready '

' let's go ' she said when she came out.

' I hope you've recovery from yesterday ' Levi said.

' We are out for running ' they left a note on the table they left.

They promised to do more than yesterday.

Shortly after that, Stella and Henry woke up and prepared to go to the restaurant.

' Do you think we'll get customers? ' Stella asked

' Be optimistic, I'm sure when they taste my incredibly good sandwiches and pizzas , they will be addicted to it '.

'okay let's get on with business ' Stella said .

So after they are done, they left for the restaurant.

They called someone to help them put up their restaurant name "Crispy Crust Restaurant"

Mrs Bradley was their first customer .

' Good morning Mr and Mrs Smith '

' Good morning to you too '

' I'd like takeout cheesy pepperoni pizza and two chocolate ice creams '

' Coming ' Henry said .

After the order was taken and Mrs Bradley was about to leave when Henry said ' Please recommend "Crispy Crust" to people '

' That's no problem ' she replied and left.

Shortly after, Levi and Rosalinda arrived to the restaurant.

' Welcome ' Henry said to both of them.

' Go home now or people will think this is a workout place if they see how you're both sweating ' Stella said.

' Okay ' they both said.

' I'm exhausted ' Rosalinda said after they went to the house and Levi replied 'okay, let's find something to eat after we take our bath'

' Sounds good to me '

'Wait Rose, what is today? '

' Saturday '

' Ah, I hope mom and dad won't make us do deliveries ' he complained

' That's true but I hope so too ' she said and walked to her room.

' Oh, I forgot to call Mia ' she said and picked up her phone , she picked up after the second ring ,

' Hi Rose '

' Hi, I wanted to call you yesterday but I forgot '

' Are you already forgetting your big sis? '

' No, you know I can't no matter what '

' I'm just kidding, thanks for calling me, actually, I'm bored to death and I'm just home alone '

' Why don't you hang out with Sam '

' Sam? well, sucks to tell you but I broke up with him, he's such a ... '

' What? you broke up with Sam? you know I always rooted for him , why? '

' Apparently, he cheated on me with his co-worker , he's a scum, wait should I be telling you this? '

The call ended.

' I should take my bath now ' she said and walked to the bathroom.
