How you say it

I remember in middle school we had to mark which was more appealing to hear. Rant, talk, chat. I put down chat because it was like a nice chat with your friends, rather than the often heard, "the talk,"

"Talk is the correct answer,"

The debate broke out, "but chat is shorter than a talk," "exactly, wouldn't you rather 'talk?'" "Those are the famous break up lines,"

We out voted her.

It really depends on what you say and how you say it. You can't say 'rant' and have a pleasing image come to mind, but tone can change 'A talk,' into a drawn out sentence. Notice it yet? Exactly, I'm ranting. ;P
