Chapter Thirty Six: Promise of Commitment

"Izek! Izek, are you okay? Please wake up," I cradle Izek in my arms after he collapses. 

"I think hearing he's going to have kids with you shocked him," Tala claimed as I glared at her. She pursed her lips and then slammed her hand over them. "Don't blame me. You left your door open."

She's right. I shouldn't blame her or myself for being careless. 

"I'm sorry," I sighed and looked down at Izek. "Now that he knows. It will be too embarrassing to mention our future when he wakes up."

Let alone about our future children. 

Just the thought of us being together and raising our kids puts a smile on my face. I always wanted to live in a lovely home with a big backyard and watch our kids play with a dog. But how can I have that dream come true when my life isn't that simple? 

"I'm sure there is nothing to worry about," Tala pats my back. "You and he will be together for an eternity."
