Pride and Peril

A realization dawned on Aria and Milo that his creature wasn't just another magical beast; they were staring down something far more sinister that defied the natural order of the world they had come to know. And as they stood frozen, gripped by the beast's imposing presence, for some inexplicable reason, one of the smaller beasts approached.

Its mouth hung open, with drool pooling beneath it, a sign of desperation and hunger. Milo's eyes narrowed as he noticed the smaller beast's frantic state.

The atmosphere grew thick with an unsettling mix of fear and defiance as the monster before them turned its attention to the smaller beast. With a low, menacing growl, it asserted its dominance. Yet, to its surprise, the smaller creature didn't back down. Instead, it raised its hackles and let out a growl of its own, a fierce sound laced with desperation.
