The next few hours to the court hearing was really hectic for both the lawyer, client and Hong Ruolan. As the lawyer from Shanxue firm tirelessly worked with the Zhang heiress from the start of visitation hour to the end. Ding Bohai continued to question the Zhang heiress during their session in the visitation room at PaoYin women prison, the question came from so many sides using different approaches to get his client to open up to him.

At Zhang Corporation, Zhang Tianyu kept looking through various files on his desk and signing his approval for those that met his standard, not knowing of the change in plans, within him was a feeling of great joy that everything she owned will finally belong to him after the trial that was to commence in two weeks. Preparation was already underway in regards to taking over her assets, he had already called for the seize and acquire department to beginning placing repossession red tags on the properties she owned.
All of a sudden, he could hear his phone ring, as he picked up to see the number of the company lawyer displayed on the screen. Wondering what he could be calling about, Zhang Tianyu picked up the call. Speaking over the phone in a lukewarm tone was Zhou Yunxiang.
"Good afternoon President Zhang, I'm calling to inform you of the court hearing for Miss Zhang which has been moved forward to three days time."
On the other end, Zhou Yunxiang could not see the expression of the President of Zhang Corporation, but he knew from experience that it will not be something good to look at.
True enough, Zhang Tianyu was very angry, he wanted his niece to suffer greatly in prison, nothing will make him more happy if it was suddenly announced that she met some mishap while in prison. He found it unbelievable that the court date was brought forward, when he asked the reason for the sudden shift in date, his lawyer could only give a vague answer in response.
He didn't know why he felt so uneasy by the thought of the court hearing being brought forward, despite the coolness of the room, Zhang Tianyu became uncomfortable as though the room had become a coal mine. He kept mulling over the possibility that, the judge may have discovered something unusual that was tied to the case.
"Where is Yang Lin?!"
The displeasure in his voice could be heard on the other end, as the lawyer told him that Yang Lin been discharged some days ago, but his current whereabouts was still unknown. In anger, Zhang Tianyu began to curse at his lawyer, blaming Zhou Yunxiang for being incapable. The other man kept quiet, while receiving the insult Zhang Tianyu threw at him, what else could he say to defend himself against the President of Zhang Corporation. Who presently held so much power and could at anytime dismiss him and shutdown the law firm he had spent years to grow.
Zhang Tianyu wasn't thinking straight at the time he asked for the location of the former aide to the Zhang heiress. In his right mind, he would have asked the private detective that he hired to do his dirty work.
Furious that he wasn't getting the answer he wanted, the President of Zhang Corporation cut the call off without any warning whatsoever to the other person. After the call ended, Zhang Tianyu continued to stare into the empty space, feeling at a loss on what to do next.
