Asgard

Heimdall stood at the Bifrost with his sword inserted allowing for him to control it.

In mere seconds Thor appeared with Jane in his arms, Jane observed her surroundings with awe as Thor made his way to his old friend. Just as the Bifrost was about closed Batman appeared right next to Jane who jumped away after being startled.

Batman's sudden appearance caused them all to look at him with wide eyes, "why... why are you here?" Thor asked after regaining his wits. "I told you I had questions" Batman spoke as he looked to the god, "I see, and they will be answered but this is of the utmost importance and so forgive me friend I will have to speak to you later".

Batman observed as Thor grabbed Jane and flew over the rainbow bridge to the golden castle in the distance. Batman and Hiemdall observed in silence before turning to look at each other both men silent taking each other's presence in.

"Do you know where he is headed?" Batman questioned the tall man decked in golden armor, paying no heed to the eyes that could seemingly see through everything. "To the Healers", Heimdall responded to the Batman in a tone all to similar to the Dark knight's.

"Would you be kind as to guide me there?", "My duty is to protect the Bifrost and hence I am unable to do so. You may take the bridge to head to the city and then to the castle, the healers reside within those walls. I am sure you will be able to gain entry" Heimdall told the Batman who gave a nod as well as a word of thanks before heading into the city.

Heimdall watched his back as he made his way across the rainbow bridge for a minute before heading back to his post. Batman continued his journey soon arriving in the city.

In his past life he had seen Asgard on screen many times but to actually see it with his eyes... oh what a sight.

The people looked at him and he could hear some of them discussing his strange clothing but he paid it no heed because after all how many times had the people here seen someone like him... actually considering the fact this is Asgard and their enemies take all shapes and forms they shouldn't be too concerned about his appearance at least that was what Batman thought.

Batman didn't fail to notice the guards who made no attempts to hide the fact that they were tailing him.

After an hour Batman arrived before the palace entrance which was made of solid gold. "Halt! who are you and why are you here" One of the men question as the rest pointed their spears at him.

With a quick glance Batman saw the men behind had their spears pointed at him as well. "I'm Batman and I'm here to see Thor"

"We know of no Batman and have no been made aware of the prince expecting visitors"

"Not to worry he is with me" a booming voice resounded breaking the growing tension. All the people turned to source with the guards putting away their weapons and offering a short bow.

"We will leave him in your presence then Volstagg" The guard spoke as he made way for Batman and Volstagg who now stood at his side.

"Well come on then let's go see Thor" Volstagg boomed as he slapped his hands against Batman's back. Batman let out a grunt before following after Volstagg.

"Hahaha you are the man of Bats I see, Ha Thor spoke lots about you didn't think I'd see you anytime soon to be honest" Volstagg spoke to Batman as the made their way through the castle.

"I didn't plan on coming here either" Batman responded, "Oh then pray tell, what brings you to Asgard then".

"Questions", Batman answered as he took notice of a commotion occuring outside, Volstagg noticed as well as they stood at an opening observing the commotion.

Asgard's defense had been activated firing at the strange planes flying at them. At this time Batman realized Malekith had already began his attack.

Volstagg readied his battle axe as Batman pulled out a couple of Batarangs, An energy field began to form around the Asgardian castle destroying a few ships with collided with it but one managed to get through crashing through the palace not too far from them.

Batman and Volstagg shared a look before they quickly made their way towards where the ship had crashed into the palace.

Arriving at the throne they noticed the guards sprawled out all over the floor with the dark elves who were firing their weapons stopping the guards from getting close.

The presence of the two was soon noticed as one of the elves turned and began firing at them. Volstagg Rose his axe in response to block some of the blasts as Batman jumped out the way to avoid the blast sending out some batarangs in response.
