Cani spent the entire night in Lin Ge's room—naturally, last night Lin Ge found another empty room to rest in and didn't stay in his own.

After all, it isn't quite proper for a single man and an unaccompanied woman to spend the whole night in the same room, even if that room contains a head and a living book.

The next morning, when Lin Ge was preparing breakfast, he made an extra portion. The additional serving was, of course, for the skeleton maid.

Now, however, calling her a skeleton maid doesn't seem quite right since she has grown flesh and blood. That's not an illusion, but a real body; Lin Ge confirmed this when he carried her back yesterday.

He couldn't help but wonder what exactly this so-called world rule was. The phenomenon of flesh growing on bones seemed hard to explain with the science of this world, although one might find similar tales in myths and legends.
