Back on his own ship, standing on the deck, Kim looked toward the large vessel beside him, still finding it hard to believe.
I actually made it back unscathed.
A few burly pirates walked past him, carrying a chest, the prize of this voyage: gold coins and jewels that reeked of fish.
He watched silently, as if looking at someone else's possessions. Indeed, they were now someone else's.
Regardless, he had at least survived, and as long as he was alive, he could earn more gold coins.
His crew were all fine, each of them kneeling honestly on the deck, lifting their heads to look at him. Seeing Captain Kim return alive surprised everyone.
At that moment, he saw a pirate carrying a sack out of the cabin, something in it was moving, as if a large fish were trapped inside.
Captain Kim thought of something and couldn't help but ask,
"Pirate brother, what's in the bag?"
