Deep within the mining area's stone chamber, Lanya took off her large hat and gave it two pats, causing the core of the Stone Giant to fall out, taking the shape of an oval fossil that seemed like the egg of some large creature.

"How do you plan to awaken it?" Lanya asked curiously.

Lin Ge walked up to the core of the Stone Giant, a grey object about a meter high, with an extremely smooth surface.

Iris and the others watched curiously as he extended his right hand, placing it over the top of the core.

Lin Ge released a thread of spiritual power, probing into the gray core.

The inside of the core was completely solid, but the material in the central part seemed different from the periphery; it vaguely resembled a curled-up human figure with a slumbering soul hidden in the head part of the figure.

He tried to awaken the soul.
