The cultivation room Thale entered was unlike anything he had ever seen before. It was a large, spacious chamber with a high ceiling and walls made of a smooth, glistening stone. The room was lit by a soft, warm light that seemed to emanate from the walls themselves. In the center of the room stood a large, intricately carved stone platform, upon which rested a cushioned mat. The mat was made of a soft, silken material, and it seemed to glow with an inner light.
Thale walked over to the mat and sat down, crossing his legs and closing his eyes. He began to focus his Qi, directing it to flow through his body in a smooth, steady stream. He felt the Qi fill his limbs, and he began to channel it into the mat, sinking deeper and deeper into a state of meditation.
