Lets have lunch together

She stared dagger at me. I wonder what she will do to me. But I guess the heaven smiled at me. The bell signaling the end of period rang throughout the room. I sighed in relief.

Hiratsuka-sensei went to the door like the previous aura looked like a lie. She stopped at the door of the class. She wait for a bit like thinking about something and looked to me one last time. She grinned at me and went out just like that. A shiver rang throughout my body, Whatever she was thinking, It must not be something good I thought.

After that I and Saaya was bombarded with question from our classmate. We took our time answering their question before escaping. At least they were considerate enough to gave us time for ourselves.

Saaya's band mates were already went ahead to the gathering place. The girl that slept on the class seemed to be one of them.

-School yard below the Sakura tree ??? POV-

The Sakura was blooming right now signifying the season. Hanagisawa Highschool Had one big Sakura Tree in its yard. It was very big so this place was usually used by the students to have their lunch.

"Wow~, look everyone! The sakura tree is in full bloom!!"

One of the girl said. She has purple eyes and shoulder length brown hair. Her hair was very unique shaped liked cat ear?. She looked like someone who is easygoing and cheerful.

"I wonder if it's the power of spring that makes this so exciting? Doesn't spring make you feel like something new is going to happen Kasumi-chan?"

The one who said that is a girl with short chin-length black hair and red eyes. She looked petite. The girl looked small that you want to protect her. She was like a little sister character. The shy reserved one not the violent tsundere one.

Kasumi : "Huh? Is it because of spring, Rimi-rin? I always feel like something new is gonna happen!"

Said a girl with blonde hair. Her hair was styled in pigtail. She looked like the typical tsundere character. She spoke to Kasumi in sarcasm but it can be seen in their interaction with each other that they were pretty close.

Kasumi: "Hee, is that true Arisa? But, You're the same as me, aren't you O-Tae?

The one who spoke was a girl with gentle green eyes and straight, waist-length, dark brown hair. She looked really relaxed. Its like even if there was meteor fell in the next minutes, It won't faze her.

But like cutting Arisa thought. Some strange sound was heard in the yard.

It came from the back of the tree. Curious about the sound, Four of them decide to look for the source.

There, they saw a girl in school uniform swinging a wooden sword toward the falling Sakura petals. Just beside her on the bench, it was an unopened bento box signifying the girl didn't have her lunch yet.

Kasumi : "... Hm? Guys, what's that girl doing?"

???: Hyah! Hyaaah!

Arisa : "Wh-what's up with her ...? She's swinging a wooden sword or something at a tree... She's probably crazy. Nobody make eye contact."

Kasumi : Hmm? Wait, isn't that...?

Arisa : "H-hey, Kasumi! I said don't make eye contact! These weirdos always come out in spring. we need to stay aw-."

Before Arisa finished her sentence. Kasumi already darted to the girl happily.

Arisa : "... Argh! Kasumi!"

Arisa felt agitated at her friend action.

Eve : "Hm? Oh, Kasumi-san! And Rimi-san, Saya-san, and Tae-san too. Oh, Arisa-san is here as well."

Arisa : "Huh?! Training to be a warrior...?!"

Arisa : "... S-seriously?"

Eve : "I have to cut a falling sakura petal in two. The swordsmen in the novel I read all did this training!"

Eve said puffing her chest with her hand on her hip looking very proud. All of the onlooker looked very surprised and didn't know what to say.

Eve : "Oh! Don't worry, this sword is made of wood!"

Arisa : "I don't think that's the problem here..."

Arisa want to retort more when another voice was also heard

??? : "ahh... is that kaa-kun... hey kaa-kun"

Kasumi : "oh... Hagu what are you doing?"

The one who spoke energetically to Kasumi was a girl with brown eyes and short, bright orange hair. She looked kind of tomboyish with her short hair.

Hagumi : " listen to this... I was playing with Kokoron and Mii-kun when I talked to them about the transfer student... and they want me to introduce them to him"

Misaki : "You don't even ask for my opinion... well fine I guess"

Kasumi : "yay!... this is the first time that we have lunch with this many people... Lets enjoy it Arisa"

Arisa : "y-yeah... of course"

Arisa : ( Kasumi you dumbass... at least ask my opinion first)

Its already awkward for me to meet the new transfer student and now there are four new people that I seldom talked to. and three of them even the same level of weirdness as you and Otae.

Arisa : (should I make excuse and run?)

Arisa was thinking about what excuse to use for getting out of here. The difficulties of the activity get from normal to Hell. She will felt really nervous with 5 people in the party. just when she thought that a familiar voice was heard.

Saaya : "hey everyone... I bring him here"

Over there was Saaya was waving at them while bringing a boy along.

Saaya : "ehh, it has more people now? is this fine for you Elliot"

Elliot : " its fine... Its more fun with more people"

He said with a smile on his face

Arisa : (geh... its already too late)

Regretting that she was too late. Arisa decide to just face it head on.
