Lily

"Its so beautiful, Naomi san!" Mary said enjoying the beautiful scenery. "Do you know about young master's first wife?" Naomi said. The garden was absolutely beautiful it was filled with lilies. There were butterflies and birds flying around. There were small trees here and there. "Damon's first wife? I didn't know about that. Could you please tell me more?" Mary had no idea that Damon was or is married to another girl. "Okay but please don't tell anyone. Maids aren't allowed to gossip. It is said that Damon got married to a beautiful woman when he was 18. It is said that she had blonde hair and green eyes just like yours. Her name was Lily. Her smile was as bright as sunshine and her skin was as pure as a melody. Rumors have it that Damon and her even had a son." She said. 'Lily' What a beautiful name. If Damon had such a beautiful wife what happened to her and was that young boy she saw the photo of his son. "What happened to her then?"

"I don't know for sure but I have heard that last year on young master's 23rd birthday she disappeared. He went crazy looking for her with his influence she shouldn't have been hard to find but after a month the corpse of Lily was found. In her memory Young master planted thousands of Lilies all by himself. It is said that his son is still alive. Its just that the young master hid him from the world after the death of Lily." Naomi said as tears filled her eyes. She took a lily from the garden and handed her to Mary.

Even Mary who didn't even know Lily started slowly tearing up. "Excuse me. I have to go." Mary said rushing inside the house. She just happened to bump into Damon.

"What happened to you? Why are you crying?" Mary only hugged him in the response. Damon gently took her and carried her in his arms to the bedroom. "Shh... Don't cry. I am here. What happened? Do you have period cramps? Are you missing your dad or mom?" He said laying her down on the bed. Mary couldn't believe how gentle he was being. "No...I just learned about what happened to your first wife Lily and I couldn't help but feel sad." Mary said sitting up. "Oh..Well Lily wasn't my wife." He said caressing her hair.

"She was my dearest friend. She died last year. It's no use crying for her now. What happened has happened. May she rest in peace." He said taking her hand. "What happened to her son? Did he die too? Wait is the room next to ours his. Where does he live now?" She said continuously asking questions. Damon took his finger and put it above her lips. There was a moment of silence between them. Mary looked into his blue eyes. They were like the sea. "Lets go to my penthouse than I will explain everything." He took her hand and her handbag and went out the door.

"Where are you going you both?" Zara who was sitting on the couch asked. "To our home." Zara asked no more questions and the couple went out. He opened the door of the car for her and for the first time he drove.

After a long while Damon stopped in the parking lot of a huge building it had more than eleven floors. He once again being the gentleman he is opened the door for Mary and gracefully took her hand. They both went into the elevator and directly to the 14th floor.

The elevator opened and there was a huge living room with a white couch and a huge LCD. It was very beautiful. On the couch there was a little boy of about 5 years old sitting there. He had black and blue eyes and after looking at Damon he rushed towards him and hugged him. "Papa, you are back." Damon threw him into the air and hugged him. "Mhmm. Levi, meet your mama." Damon said putting Levi down on the floor. Levi stared at Mary and said. "Mama, nice to meet you. Do you remember me!?" Mary didn't understand what was going on but decided to play along. "Of course, why wouldn't I remember you, Levi?" She said pulling him into a huge hug. "Levi, now you go play with your toys. I am going to talk to your mom. Okay?" Damon said patting Levi on the head. "Okay." He said going away. "Sit down. Please get me two cups of black coffee, Rosie." He said to the girl who was playing with Levi when they first came in. "Will do." She said hurrying off. "So, do you care to explain it all?" Mary said taking a seat next to him.

"Lily was a beautiful girl. She was about 28 years old. She lived with us and the room next to ours used to be Levi's old room. She was a lot like you. You both look alike. Anyways a month before she died, She came to my room. She told me that she knew was going to die. At that time I didn't believe her. She made me promise to her that if anything happened to her that I would become Levi's guardian. Lily like you had run away from her family when she was 20 and at the age of 23 she had gotten herself pregnant. The father was unknown. I was her best friend she had no one other than me in the world. I remember the night she came in my room crying. She had got herself involved in-" He stopped to take a breath. "in what?" Mary asked.

Mary just then realized that Rosie was been trying to hand her a cup of coffee. She took a deep sip and then Damon continued his long story.

"Nothing. Basically long story short she knew she was going to die and made me promise to her that I would become Levi's guardian if anything happened to her. Last year after her death I adopted Levi. Levi was too young to know what was going on so I told him that his mom had went out for some business. He believes that I am his father and until he is of proper age I am just going to let him believe that. When I first saw you that day you reminded me of Lily. So I married you. I think it was love at first sight with you. Its getting late. Lets go shopping for college. I don't want to leave Levi here would you mind if he comes?" He asked putting the cup of tea down. "Not at all. Will you come too?" She said putting the attention to the black haired girl sitting on the corner. "Me. I am just Levi's nanny. I mean if you want I would like to come." She said clearly startled. "Than its settled. Rosie, please get Levi we are going now."
