Before Taking Any Step

"Leave us!" Long Kael commanded loudly as he waved his hands, ordering the  elders.

"But Your Majesty, these people… They don't seem trustworthy. We are worried about your safety," One of the elders said almost sounding genuine to Wu Jiao's ears.

Wu Jiao smiled discreetly. She was starting to get a picture of what was going on. It seemed  that the king was trying to hide the identity of the person who was severely injured.

Why? Because when Long Kael blurted out the word 'she' the faces of the elders had gotten  confused, which confirmed that they were not aware of exactly what was going on. Too bad, the king  wanted them to stay, and that would make them more curious.

"Do not make me say it again." Long Kael said warningly. There were elders who truly cared for his safety and the citizens of the dragon country.
