Black could be seen floating in an empty void trying to process his situation.
One moment he was minding his own business and the next the world went black and white before a portal appeared then sucked him in.
"System, what happened?"
[Answer:
It seems the host has met the requirements for world travel, yet due to the host being inexperienced, the portal was opened without a command.
Due to the host not choosing an exact destination, he will appear in a world that has a similarity to his own.
The host is advised to remain calm and wait patiently, the host will arrive at his destination shortly.]
Black released a sigh reading the message and began to wait. He didn't know how long it took but slowly everything around him started to take form.
From what Black could tell, He was standing on a pink rug in the center of a yellow room that resembled an apartment.
However, before he could take a look around, he noticed a young woman in front of him lying on a pink bed, staring up at him stunned.
She had short blonde hair and dark green eyes with a rather tired/dull expression. She wore a red crop top without a bra and short trousers that resembled panties, exposing her long legs.
The young woman regained her composure then literally pulled a pistol out of nowhere. Before Black knew it, a pistol pressing against his head connected to a portal.
Shifting his gaze towards the gun against his head, Black stared at it blankly without much of a reaction. Instead, he turned back toward the girl and raised his right hand.
"Hey."
...
Black was now sitting on the floor with the young woman from before on the bed, she watched him carefully keeping the pistol pressed up against his head through a portal.
"So you're telling me a portal opened and sucked you inside, and now you're here?"
Black nodded, it wasn't the entirety of the truth but it was not a lie either. He left out the part about him being from another world, and other obvious stuff to hide.
The young woman's eyes remained fixated on him, after releasing a sigh she pulled the gun back through the portal then closed it.
She knew there were some things he was hiding, she wasn't stupid enough to miss the multiple holes in the story he told her, but sensing no ill intent from him she relaxed.
The young woman threw the pistol away then held her hand over her nose. "By the way.."
"Hm?" Black hummed looking at the young woman curiously.
"You smell like a fish, go take a bath." The young woman kept her hand over her nose and pointed towards a door.
"..."
Black stood up without saying a word then headed towards the door she was pointing to. He couldn't refute her words, even with the soap he had used he couldn't remove the stench of the megalodons.
Opening the door, Black was welcomed by the sight of a bathroom with blue tiled walls. Walking inside, he closed the door behind him then turned the faucet connected to the tub.
The young woman watched as Black entered the bathroom, seeing him close the door behind him she fell on her back in bed and stared at the ceiling.
'I'm sure he's the one who created that portal, I mean a portal doesn't just open by itself, and I wasn't able to sense anything, if he's truly the one who created that portal then that means his spatial control is greater than my own..'
Instead of being jealous or infuriated, the young woman only grinned and hugged her pillow, a small blush blooming on her face.
Black felt a shiver go down his spine and was left confused, the water was perfectly hot and he was enjoying it, after all it was the first actual bath he had in a week if he didn't count using the lake.
After what felt like an hour, Black finally managed to get the fish smell off of him.
He drained the tub of the water, dried himself off, and put his hair up into a ponytail after dressing.
When Black walked outside of the bathroom he saw the young woman lying in bed texting on her phone, realizing Black was back she turned to him. "That's better."
Black ignored her remark and sat on the floor behind a table. "Thanks for letting me use your bath."
The young woman nodded her head then sat up, putting her phone away. "Now that that's over with, I think it's time for an introduction."
The young woman stood on her bed, placed her left hand on her hip, and moved her right leg forward, slightly bending it.
"The name's Bell Hydra, but you can call me Bell!"
"I can create space anywhere, coming and going at will, for I am a traveler who can be at different places at one time! But my hobby is treasure hunting and I travel between the human and demon world in search of the finest and most valuable riches imaginable!"
"Yes, there's nobody who can keep up with me!"
Bell stood proud, Black could've sworn he saw spotlights and riches falling upon her.
'Bell Hydra..I guess that means I'm in Blood Lad.'
Bell stopped posing and let herself fall back onto her bed. "So, how about you?"
"My name is Black, a black rabbit as you could probably tell." Answered Black pointing to the ears atop his head.
"Ironic, a black rabbit being named Black." Said Bell taking a good look at Black, thanks to the situation before, she wasn't able to see much.
The first thing that caught her attention was Black's eyes. They looked like priceless artifacts, no, more than that.
His hair caught her attention as well, it was literally sucking the light out of the surroundings which was far from ordinary.
She had also noticed an energy subconsciously emanating from Black's body, it was like something leaking out of a sealed chest. However, the longer she stared, the more she felt it was staring back.
Bell instinctively felt fear looking at the energy, she was confident it was looking back at her the longer she stared at it but she was excited at the same time.
'God damnit, why do I always get curious about things hidden and locked away from me?' Bell thought to herself.
'Oh, that's easy, because I'm a treasure hunter!' Bell giggled to herself and did a small pose, pointing her finger to the ceiling.
Black didn't mind her little posing sessions, if anything he found it amusing.
"Oh right.."
Bell stood up then placed a door frame on one of the walls, with a small touch of her fingers the frame transformed into a portal exposing a man preparing to enter a car.
Bell opened another portal next to her then took some cash out. Quickly snatching the pizza boxes away, she dropped the money then closed the portal.
With the boxes in hand, Bell walked towards the table Black sat at then placed them down on it before opening them.
"Almost forgot I ordered something to eat, you can eat meat right? Since you're a rabbit I'm assuming you might be vegan?" Bell asked, bringing plates out of a portal.
Black didn't mind her pulling things out of anywhere, he did it as well due to how convenient it was. From the way Bell used her spatial magic, it seemed like she had a more advanced version of an inventory.
Shaking his head, Black answered her. "I can eat meat, pretty sure it's better than vegetation for me anyway."
Hearing Black's answer, Bell finished preparing everything and sat across the table from him.
The two began to eat. Black felt like he was in heaven. Due to Black being a monster, eating raw meat didn't taste bad and actually nice when it wasn't rotting, but the taste of cooked food was simply on another level.
When the two finished their meals, Black stood up feeling it was time for him to leave. "I think it's time I get going."
"How are you going to get back? I thought you said a portal transported you here, it's long gone by now." Bell asked, looking up at Black with slight confusion.
"I never said it wasn't my portal, you assumed the other part." Answered Black.
Bell clicked her tongue, though inside she had become even more excited hearing Black confirmed the portal was his.
"Will you come back?"
Black thought for a moment before nodding his head. "Yea, I'll be back but not anytime soon."
"Not anytime soon?" Bell asked.
"There's something I need to do on my end, it could possibly take months." Explained Black.
"Then do you have one of these?" Asked Bell, lifting her phone only to have Black shake his head.
Even though she didn't show it, Bell was disappointed. She had found something that interested her that didn't involve treasure hunting and was about to lose it.
Taking a moment to think, Bell looked as if she remembered something. She moved to a giant bag that was beside her bed and took out a blue smartphone.
She placed her hand on her hip then held out the phone in front of her to Black. "Never fear, Bell is here!"
"You sure?" Asked Black staring at the phone she held out.
He wasn't even sure if they'd even be able to communicate, he was going to another world after all.
"Yup, it's just an old phone I kept as a backup anyway." Explained Bell.
"I guess I'll take it then, thank you."
Black took the phone from Bell and slipped it into his inventory without the worry of Bell seeing it, after all he knew she was most likely assuming he had some kind of spatial magic.
"Don't worry about it, just make sure you text me." Said Bell with a playful wink.
Black released a small chuckle at her antics then imagined his cave back in the Depths, slowly a dark portal began to take form taking Bell by surprise.
Just like before, Bell couldn't sense the portal opening, it was like it just magically appeared without any source. 'So I was right.'
"I'll see you later, Bell."
With that Black walked through the portal back to the Depths.
