He standing guard like a guardian angel all because of Cheng Jiayi

From the rooftop of a building stand opposite Tonghua hospital, someone standing there with a fierce look in his face. This person wrapped himself thoroughly with a robe despite of hot summer noon. His eyes stare at the hospital building with undivided attention. The thing is the staring eyeballs keep rolling rapidly like any second they can jump out from the eye sockets.

"I smell it. I am sure why it suddenly disappears," this person keep repeating the same word with his eerie demeanour, almost like in obsession.

The door that led to this building rooftop suddenly open and two white collar workers walk while talked to one another. Both hold box of cigarettes and it seems want to take a smoke break for a while. Its already 6 pm but they have to stay overtime due to the launch of new products soon.

Despite of that the two workers just ignore the man that has long standing there like they cannot see him. One of the man stand just beside the man in the robe and laughs when his friends make a joke about their manager.

"Huh its quite chill up here," he suddenly remarks. His friend look up from the place where he is squatting. "Chill, are you kidding, it's quite hot, this summer is a little bit hotter than last year I think," the squatting man response. The other man frown and look at his surrounding before finally shrugging. Maybe it only his tiring imagination after working overtime for several days consecutively.

At the same time the man in the robe has walk past the man standing by his side and he sneer hideously. There is a ferocity on his face as he seems losing his prey suddenly. Before he can sense a sudden peak of yin energy coming from this hospital direction but when he arrives here, that energy already disappears.

Truth to be told, if human eyes can see the ghostly spectral surrounding the hospital building, they might have screamed in fright. These entities came in different shapes and form. Some like a wraith, others look like a normal human but each and every one of it covered in resentful aura. They all attracted to whatever that exists inside that hospital,but they cannot sense it any longer and they cannot enter the hospital because it has such a strong protective barrier cast by formidable monk with high enlightenment.

However, one person can definitely see them clearly without obstruction nor he need help of any talisman. He is indeed a bit perturbed with the present of numerous ghost lingering outside the hospital. But these ghosts do nothing aside moving around like they been attracted to something, but they cannot get to it. Most of these ghosts are without clarity or consciousness and would not causing any direct harm to living human. They only appear because of the sudden rise of yin energy from this hospital. However, a few of them is no longer just houseless soul but already has substantial cultivation with sound and clear consciousness.

"Yang daozhang, you are quite early," the voice that seems appear out of nowhere disrupt Yang Guang reverie. He does not bother to search for the source of the voice as he know exactly to whom it belong. Just as he expect, a man in his early 20s appear by his side. Yang Guang has long sense this person present and few others as well that scattered all over the place.

"Greeting Li daozhang," Yang Guang do not answer the man question, he just greet him politely. He does not want to concern himself with all those monks, Taoist priests or wandering cultivators present but there is always other that would not mind doing otherwise. By example this Li clan cultivator.

Modern human has long abandoned the beliefs in the existence of mystic realm and fully embrace modern concept, theory and philosophy support by scientific explanation. "I wonder what attract all this wandering ghost to the hospital. Is something going to happened or perhaps a new Ghost king would soon come to existence," Yang Guang does not answer those statements and Li Yun only smile seen the aloof teenager which famous with his icy demeanour among young cultivators.

"Maybe treasure of heaven and earth would appear in here, whose know," Li Yun chuckled with his own joke. Yang Guang keep his silent and wonder about that suppose 'treasure of heaven and earth' which now lying on hospital bed with large bandaged around his head.

"He he this kid Li Yun is quite funny. Imagine calling a personification of heavenly meal for ghost and demon alike as heaven and earth treasure," Fushe, true to his reputation as nonstop chatter, could not help but interject in Yang Guang mind.

"Cheng Jiayi is not some kind of exotic cuisine Fushe. He is not fodder for any ghost, demon nor evil human. He is just a normal human being," Yang Guang rebuke the spirits. Fushe fell into silent after hearing this and he hush down his tone.

Yang Guang has enough listened to Fushe persistent talk about Cheng Jiayi, and everything associated with him.Today has gone haywire from what he initially suppose to do. Just from a simple hospital visit, he end up stand guarding on the top of the hospital like a good guardian angel. All because of one Cheng Jiayi.

It is the beginning of summer holidays; he shall have his leisure time lying on the bed and finished that new book his elder brother just send. Yet here he is compelled to standing guard under blazing summer sun just because of one Cheng Jiayi. Luckily he is quite efficient with cool charm or else he would already sweat profusely.

Yang Guang surmise his family might have incur a karmic debt with this Cheng Jiayi in their past life and now he has come to claim the due payment.

He still a 16-year-old teenager despite what his peers has always imagine about himself. That Cheng Jiayi better be worth it for him to standing guard here almost a whole day.

While Yang Guang internally busy admonishing Cheng Jiayi and lamented his waste summer holiday, Li Yun keep watching the wandering ghost that seems increasing instead of diminishing. The surrounding hospital area is now covered with dense ghostly aura.

"Something is not right Yang daozhang," he remarks after a while. Even his easy-going demeanour diminished in an instant and replace with a serious mien. Yang Guang now having a deep frown on his handsome face. Watching the ghost started acting like they are in a trance and start shrieking with obvious unhuman and eerie sound.

"Something might has happened inside the hospital."

Yang Guang turn his focus on the hospital fourth floor and his face change abruptly. That aura, isn't that Cheng Jiayi's aura. Without wasting any second, Yang Guang leap from where he is standing on the top floor of hospital building directly to the floor where Cheng Jiayi's room situated.

Li Yun is surprised with Yang Guang action and run toward the edge of the roof top to see where he is heading. However, he was surprised to see the congregated ghost is now pounding over the hospital protection barrier with fierce and manic manner. The ghostly aura is so dense he could not help but shiver a little. What could attract this usually harmless ghost to act so desperately like they are now ?

Li Yun does not have time to ponder further as he decide to report on the situation first. Thus, he take out his phone and soon later start type furiously and he even take evidence photo to support his claim or else those old geezers would say he is acting ridiculous again.

"Ok now let's vanquish some crazy ghost, anyway, where does Yang Guang go ?"
