The underground cave corridor was not as dark as one might expect. Dim light emanated from luminescent ore embedded in the walls and floor of the cave. These ores ranged from a soft orange hue to a bright, flame-like orange. These stones, known as Pograss ore, had the special property of emitting light after absorbing magical energy. Because of this unique trait, people often used Pograss ore to create magical lamps and jewelry.
Arias had no intention of mining these ores for lamps or jewelry. He believed they were best left in this underground cave. This natural arrangement was perfect, and destroying it for minor gains would be foolish compared to the long-term benefits it provided.
