Chapter 34: THE SPAR!

A moderately large with a small area spectator stand arena came into view. At the entrance was an elderly man seated crossed-legged in Meditation.

" Greetings Elder Mo! " Ju-Hui said in a cold tone as before.

" Four thousand points for four people! " the old man replied In a tone void of emotion.

Ju-Hui didn't say more as she handed in a token. The old man crossed his token over the one Ju-Hui had provided before returning it to her. Soon the door automatically opened for them to enter.

On entering, the arena was divided into two. One allowed spectators while the other didn't. Ju-Hui immediately chose the one without a spectator stand as others followed in pursuit!

But before they could enter, another group came from behind and blocked their way!

The leader was a male about 18 years with tattoos all over his arms, neck, and face. With him was a large blade that was about five meters long and wide. His lackeys shared a similar appearance but the difference lay in the blade. Theirs were a bit smaller and shorter.

" I heard you rejected my young brother's love proposal!" he said looking at Ju-Hui with prideful eyes.

" " No comment followed the question.

" I will give you a chance! Kowtow to my Brother three times and beg for his for forgiveness and I'll let this go. If not that, then you will have to bare my wrath!" He said as he pointed his large blade at the whole group.

" Why are barking dogs becoming rampant this year?" Futian said with a sour tone.

" What did you say brat?"

" Cone star! Why don't you just silence them at ago! Let's not waste time on them. I haven't eaten for three days in a row!"

" Okay!" the icy tone replied.

" I Dong Sung-sik will make you regret what you have said! Boys attack!" He shouted before a bury image passed by him.

The sounds of falling metals rang throughout the place accompanied by a sheathing sound. When Sung-sik turned back, his body couldn't help but shudder in fear. His brothers were not just bleeding. Blood was flowing and fountains of types of blood oozed throughout the place. A cold feeling reached his name as pain progressively spread. A warm liquid flowed down his neck. Stretching his fingers to check what exactly was wrong, a red liquid tinted his fingers!

" Aaaaaah!" Dong Sung-sik could feel his blood turning cold every moment that passed!

" Next time! You would blink before knowing that you are gone for your reincarnation!" The icy voice pierced through his ears causing him to let loose and piss on himself.

If anyone asked Dong Sung-sik who said those words, his answer would be the life reaper!

" Wow! Sister Ju-Hui is something!" Qian Lu exclaimed. As for Qin Yue, she remained silent and silently looked at both Ju-Hui and Futian.

" Can we head for our spar?" Ju-Hui asked!

" let's go!" Futian said nonchalantly seemingly not affected by what had just transpired.

The speed Ju-Hui had displayed was for someone beyond the Spirit Consolidation realm. She had drawn her sword attacked and sheathed it before even the opponents had drawn their weapons. This speed was one of a kind and definitely ensures death if the reaper decided to take lives.

In the arena, Futian stook before Ju-Hui. His expression looked unfocused and a bit lousy. On the other hand, Ju-Hui had an icy cold expression accompanied by seriousness.

" Sixth sister! How about you also join her?"

" Hypocrite!" Ju-Hui complained!

" Okay! " Qian Lu replied as she stood side by side with Ju-Hui.

" Are you going to fight both of them yourself?" Qin Yue with a frown!

" You must be kidding Senior Sister! How can this be called fighting!" Futian said jokingly.

" Then..."

" It is called a spar! A spar is not a fight!"

" Can we start?" Ju-Hui asked. Futian didn't reply but instead, put on a very different aura.

His presence seemed unrealistic and deadly. His iris were picked black as a dagger manifest in his hand.

Sensing the tension in the situation, Qin Yue could sense that Futian's aura had turned a miles turn compared to when he had just arrived. Taking caution, she improvised a protective shield In case of the after-shock attacks.

Ju-Hui was the first to initiate an attack as her sword thrashed evilly for Futian's neck. The slash went through as a sound of an explosion sounded behind her causing her to turn back.

A sense of Crisis built behind her as the residual image she had slashed disappeared. A figure thrashed a danger towards her eyes at an astonishing forcing her to draw back her sword to defend herself against it. Even with the god-defying speed, she found it difficult to defend against. A clang of weapons sounded as she retreated heavily before stopping at a distance.

Qian Lu wasn't looking any better, her forehead was already covered in sweat. When Ju-Hui's attack was missed, Futian sent a deadly attack on Qian Lu. If not for her higher cultivation, she would have already lost the battle as soon as it began.

With the first round of attack coming to an end, Futian stood in between the two. His stamina looked more stable compared to the two.

Qian Lu raised her cultivation to the mid Consolidation realm without hiding it. A completely different aura burst forth. Ju-Hui too didn't wait any longer as she also released her mid-Spirit Consolidation realm aura. Futian didn't undermine them. With that being the case, he released an aura of the mid-Spirit Awakening Realm. [1]

This time, Qian Lu initiated the attack. Her weapon was a belt sword.

[ A Belt sword as its name was a long narrow blade that is very flexible and can bend to a 360° angle. It created a high degree of capability in defending against!]

Unfortunately only one out of a thousand Martial artists would have the art of controlling and using the Belt Sword. Qian Lu using the Belt Sword was one way to know how talented she was.

[ 1] The spiritual Awakening Realm was a realm that involved the formation of a dantian that could be used to store Spirit energy. Spirit energy could be used to increase the explosive power and combat powers by two fonds or three fonds depending on the purity. When the dantian would get full of spiritual energy, it undergoes a process of maturation just like ' fermentation ' and after it reaches such a stage. A bottleneck develops which loosens so that one can undergo what we have referred to as a breakthrough.

... Spiritual energy can be used so it can get completely used up in the dantian meaning the cultivator would be no different from a car without ' a fuel ' in a fight. Or a gun without armor. This means that it has to be refilled through a process we have called cultivation.
