"AHH!!

Dezhong woke up screaming and found himself in his room with only his shirt off. He had wet towels placed on his chest and forehead as someone sat in the dark corner of his room.

Startled, he grabbed the nearest thing and threw it but whoever was at the corner simply dodged it. " Where have you been, boy?" a deep, rough voice echoed and Dezhong immediately knew exactly who it was.

" I...I don't know what you're talking about, Sir!" He lied. Out from the shadows came a tall, muscular man with thick prosthetic arms, chocolate brown skin, and a short, buzz cut walked out from the corner with his arms folded and a disappointed look on his face.

Chief Prince, Dezhong's father, looked down at his son and asked him again, " Where have you been, boy? Don't you dare lie to me."

Dezhong gulped hard and tried coming up with something relevant that wouldn't piss his father off. " I was out with Blake and Luke, just celebrating the close of this year and celebrating the next. Nothing too wild, sir. Just your son having fun with his friends" He said. His father looked at him with bewilderment and said, " What are you talking about saying nothing wild? It's not yet midnight and your friends brought you in when you were shaking and convulsing."

Dezhong's father leaned closer with a dead serious look and asked, " Are you doing drugs, boy?"

" What? No. I've seen what you do to those addicts dad, I'm not risking my life for that."

" Well, if that's the case. You're not allowed to leave this house until I return from duty, understand? You're grounded."

" But dad. What about the new year celebrations?"

" Do it from the house. No guest, no parties, no nothing. Stay inside and don't move." He sternly replied as he locked the door behind him.

Dezhong didn't even get mad at his father for he was still confused about what happened recently. ' How can it only be 10:50pm? That fight must have taken much longer than that." He asked as he checked the time on his phone. " The fight club in RedZone, the beast....THE BEAST!" Dezhong rushed to a mirror and observed himself, checking for any scars that were inflicted on him earlier.

" What happened to me at RedZone?" He asked after seeing that there was nothing on his body. He turned around to go back and lay on his bed when suddenly, he noticed a blue pendant resting on his bedroom window.

The pendant was a bright blue crystal with a black streak going across it, making it look lik an eye. The boy couldn't get his eyes off of its beautiful design and wondered if it was his father that gave it to him as a new year gift.

Either way, he quickly put it on but didn't expect what was going to happen next. The crystal shook and glowed violently as the boy's veins and muscles bulged severely. His face started to grow fur as his body became larger. His bones broke from the inside as they tore through his flesh.

He could feel something chewing on the insides of his internal organs, making him scream in pain. " AAAHHH....What's.... happening....to meeEEE."

The pain lasted for more than eight minutes, and during this time, flashbacks of the werewolf kept dancing all over Dezhong's mind. He fell, screamed, cried, howled, and even growled until the pain eventually subsided as his body returned to normal. He was still dazed from the rough experience but slowly got up on his feet.

His vision was a little blurry, his ears were catching ringing noises as his head span uncontrollably. " Wha....what's going....on?"

A bright blue rectangle popped up in front of his face and displayed;

[ Congratulations: You have been infused with the Canine Beast System.]

[ System Warning: DNA has been scanned and is much more compatible with the canine beast form. Fusion two in progress.]

" Wait.... fusion two....." Dezhong was cut short by another episode of excruciating pain that brought him down to his knees. He cried bitterly as he felt his insides, once again, go through the feeling of being chewed on.

After five whole minutes of more excruciating pain, his body went back to normal and cooled down a little. " What's happening to me?" He asked in anger. "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME DAMN IT!!"

" There are others with this, and is this some sort of secret program? If I'm the first and I've got a werewolf gene, what beast forms do the other two have? Even more important, who are the other two?"

As Dezhong was asking random questions to himself, his two friends, Blake and Luke, stood at his front door as they banged on it as hard as they could. The two boys waited for Mr. Prince to leave before they peered at the front door.

" What's taking him so long?" Luke angrily asked as he banged harder. Dezhong reluctantly opened the front door and let his friends in.

" Oh crap. You look horrible men." Luke greeted and mocked Dezhong's sorry state.

" What happened to you, Dezhong?" Blake asked. "Couldn't handle a little bit of fighting?"

His eyes were sunken, his face was moist with sweat and his pupils were heavily dilated.

"Wh-what happened to me guys?" Dezhong asked. "I don't remember anything from the fight."

"You got over excited and passed out." Blake replied. "Don't worry, you weren't the only one…sort of."

"Anyway, we've got more important things to deal with." Blake continued while pulling out the same circular disc from earlier. It once again showed a holographic image, but this time it showed a large warehouse like building with a large iron Gorilla face on its front.

"This is where we're heading tonight boys," Blake smirked. "We're joining the Gorillas."
