It happened again.
What was once a joyous moment for Desper turned into a sorrowful one once again. The people who once thanked Bear Claws for saving them were the same ones blasting acid at him for not doing a good job. The reason for this was due to the advent of a gray haze surfacing all over Eastern and Central Desper, with smaller amounts emerging in Western Desper as well. With the gray haze came eerie screams, screeches, and howls from creatures that sounded like nightmares.
Once again, fear dwelled in Desper, and with fear came hastily made decisions and, most of all, stupidity. Humans have this interesting reaction whenever faced with something they do not know or are afraid of. They'd either hide or run away from them or try to poke and see how dangerous it really is, completely disregarding their lives.
