[Location: Neveahian Military Base.]

"OKAY, PEOPLE, LET'S SADDLE UP THESE MACHINES! I WANT TURRETS MOUNTED AND FULLY LOADED, ALL SYSTEMS CHECKED, AND EVERY SOLDIER TO RERUN A FULL DIAGNOSTICS TEST ON THEMSELVES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."

At the Neveahian Military Base, specifically the Hangar Area, Supreme Commander Damian Shaw gave orders to a fleet of war aircraft preparing to leave. At the moment, hundreds of soldiers, more humans than mechanized ones, were moving up and down with equipment in their hands.

Pilots went over full system checks on their aircraft, gunmen rechecked their turrets, tested them on dummy targets, and then checked some more. Maintenance personnel went through the aircraft one at a time before preparing to leave. The pilots, having not flown in a while, gathered in their religious groups and prayed to the deities they served/believed in, while the gunmen practiced once more.
