Aki and Kyoshi start a duel that wreaks havoc across the island, completely destroying the village and 20% of the flora after just one minute of battle.
The legendary avatar Kyoshi uses intense Earthbending techniques to attack Aki's human body, hoping to cause significant damage.
Kyoshi's speed and Earthbending were something almost no human had ever used before, and it was easily the Avatar's best weapon against the Dragon.
On the other hand, Aki, completely driven by her draconic instincts, would punch and kick rocks over 20 meters long with a single blow, which confused the Avatar, who believed that the Dragon would use its fire to destroy her attacks, in the hope of draining Aki's energy.
Unbeknownst to Kyoshi or any other spirit except the Celestial Dragons themselves, each of them possessed something called the "Origin of Light" in their souls, also known as the Nebula. An individual power characteristic of each Celestial Dragon's personality, and this power was at work without the Avatar realizing it.
Aki, tired of smashing rocks for almost two minutes, let out a small roar that acted like a shockwave, destroying all of Kyoshi's attacks around him. Using his brute strength, he jumped off the ground, shattering it and furiously attacking the Avatar.
Kyoshi created five rock walls to slow down her opponent, easily ignored by the albino's brute strength, but she managed to slow her down as she had planned.
Aki, standing next to her prey, launched a blow at the Avatar's face, with more than enough force to shatter the human skull. However, Kyoshi used his airbending to dodge at the last second, kicking the ground to cause the earth to move in the shape of a pillar over Aki's body, and managed to push her away.
- I can't let her get any closer. - whispered Kyoshi, sweat dripping from his forehead.
As the fierce battle raged, the great flying bison flew over the island, with a few spectators watching on its back.
Katara, Sokka, Suki and Momo himself watched the complex battle, cheering on the legendary Avatar to victory, especially Suki, who hoped that her "goddess" would avenge the destruction of her home.
- Air, water and earth... - said Aki, quickly appearing in front of Kyoshi without her realizing it. - I thought Avatars were masters of four elements, not three.
- I know very well that fire wouldn't make any difference against you, so how am I supposed to burn fire itself? - Kyoshi took a few steps back, quickly realizing that Aki could have ended the battle if he had wanted to, feeling even more pressure on his soul.
- Clever answer... but... - Aki's eyes sparkled and his smile looked demonic. - You're not giving me your best!
After Aki's words, the temperature of the entire region around the island rose by more than 40ºC, even the Avatar team in the sky felt the sudden change in temperature.
- [Damn, I'm still a long way from making them fight for real!] - thought Kyoshi as he felt his skin begin to burn with the temperature.
- Come on, Kyoshi, show me the power you Avatars brag about! - shouted Aki, smiling broadly. - Unless you're just an imposter, because you only use that power to suppress those who oppose your ideas.
- That's not true!
- It's the truth! No human being could fight against you, but against someone so powerful, they're nothing but cowards! - provoked Aki, trying to arouse Kyoshi's anger. - Come on, Kyoshi! Show me the power of Raava!
- ENOUGH! - shouted Kyoshi, his anger affecting the sea itself, and the clouds began to gather, forming a hurricane.
- That's what I wanted to see, the power of a primordial spirit. - Aki murmured.
The island of Kyoshi split into five gigantic parts, each part rising above the sea, a display of power that astonished all the survivors of the battle.
Tizo looked up at the sky, his vision completely dazed, and he couldn't help but tremble instinctively at the sight of a power that could only be described as that of a god.
This vision was no different from that of Zhao, who was kneeling at the bow of the ship, admiring a battle of fantastic or theatrical proportions.
Miles away from the battle, Zuko and Iroh could clearly see the great island of Kyoshi being lifted into the sky, a sight that could easily have been considered an illusion or madness, were it not for the fact that everyone was watching.
Below the island, a large whirlpool of water appeared, swallowing up some of the Fire Nation ships that weren't lucky enough to escape the island in time.
Team Avatar were the only ones who had a view, or even a chance, of witnessing the battle above the clouds.
- What kind of monsters are those? - said Sokka, paralyzed with fear.
- Come on, Aang, come back to us. - whispered Katara, seeking comfort in the strong wind blowing in her face.
- My home. - Suki saw her island, her home, lifted into the sky, her heart aching as she realized she had no home to return to.
All of Avatar Kyoshi's great divine manipulation took almost six minutes, something that was patiently awaited by Aki, who was practicing enthusiastically for the battle.
The great manipulation and display of power completely affected Aki, a big mistake because the Dragon Nebula, her unique ability, allowed the proclaimed goddess of war to increase her power indefinitely while being seized by the fighting spirit. A skill that would allow Aki to fight with all her strength and increase her power quickly, using minimal energy, being the celestial dragon with the greatest resistance of all, only weaker in power than the White Emperor himself.
- This is what I'm talking about! - Aki screamed with happiness as Kyoshi's air warp surrounded her and threw her off what was left of the island.
In freefall, Aki smiled happily, it was a rare moment when she could fight for pure fun without worrying about safety or the balance of the world. A brief thought crossed her mind, wondering if it was worth using her original form just for the pleasure of crushing the Avatar.
- Hmm... If I used my original form, it would be a disgrace to the honor of my species. - Aki commented, ignoring the fact that he was falling backwards towards the sea.
Aki slapped her hands together with great force, causing the muscles in her arms to tense.
- But... I can use it, besides, since I'm the creator of this movement.
Aki's hands opened to reveal a small yellow sun, sending a temperature of over 1000 °C through the sea and the air. The sudden change in temperature drastically affected the clouds and the sea itself, as if the world was preparing for the Dragon's movement.
Realizing that the Dragon was preparing to attack, Kyoshi let gravity do its work and let the island fall in free fall, preparing his powers to contain the giant wave that would form as the island fell.
- Supernova style, solar fusion: RED GIANT! - Aki roared in his draconian voice, creating a giant red sun 100 meters in diameter. The mass of energy drastically affected the gravity around it, temporarily creating its own orbit with the ocean and rock fragments falling from the sky.
The summoned star was fired at the falling island at high speed like a meteor, and the collision of the two impacts inevitably caused a huge explosion of spiritual mass, shaking the mortal world with a great earthquake.
Seeing the island being atomically destroyed so quickly, Aang's desire to protect his friends influenced Kyoshi enough to protect this generation's team of Avatars, using his Air Mastery to push the great flying bison out of range of the dragon's attack.
The immense mass of energy continued to advance until suddenly all of its energy was compressed into a single point, microseconds after the explosion.
Aki's hair was golden and his muscular arms glowed the same color as his hair, while he seemed to be working hard to compress all the energy he had used and dilute the effect of his own blow as much as possible.
- I'm not going to let this turn into a fucking black hole. - said Aki, trying hard to avoid a cosmic catastrophe in the mortal world.
The great mass of compressed energy, for a moment faster than light, turned into a small black atom capable of destroying the planet, but it was surrounded by a golden energy that erased its existence as if it had never existed.
Aki, looking satisfied, ended up falling violently into the water, exhausted, realizing that he had used more energy than necessary.
The image of Avatar Kyoshi was slowly disappearing, because although she hadn't been hit by the direct blow, the shockwave had hit her, breaking several of "her" bones.
- Shit... in the end, I didn't stand a chance. - With what strength he had left, Kyoshi flew towards the flying bison, which had miraculously recovered from the shockwave with minimal damage. Looking out to sea, Kyoshi broke out in a cold sweat when he realized that Aki was still monstrously strong. - She'd only lost half her energy... What the hell.
The legendary Avatar landed on the flying bison's back, watched by Aang's group of friends, but their attention was focused squarely on Suki, who was feeling strong and contradictory emotions.
- Our home is the people around us, not the land itself. - Kyoshi smiled, replaced by the presence of Aang, who had fallen unconscious.
After a few seconds, Aki emerges from the water, breathing a little fast, clearly watching the flying bison soaring towards the horizon, temporarily out of her reach.
The albino woman smiles, satisfied with the battle, although she is worried that she has used up half her energy reserves just to avoid the appearance of a cosmic singularity. A large metal ship came towards them, sensing Tizo's spiritual energy.
After a few minutes, Aki lay down on the bow of the ship as if nothing had happened, looking only slightly tired in the eyes of the crew who saw her as some kind of god.
- You put on quite a show. - said Tizo, trying to regain his composure after everything that had happened. - Is everyone in your family so strong?
- Only my grandfather and I have that kind of brute strength. - Aki replied, obviously tired by his voice. - My daughter and mother can't do that kind of technique to the same extent as me. - Aki looked at the sun and remembered that there was someone who was light years ahead of her in terms of brute strength.
- You must not even be very exhausted. - Tizo marveled at Aki's enormous stamina.
- This blow isn't as tiring as it looks, at least for me, the problem was containing the explosion and the after-effect. - Aki closed his eyes and put his arms behind his head like a pillow. - If I was serious, I would have used my real form.
- Real form?
- Yes, in the form I'm currently in, I'm limited to a tenth of my real power.
Tizo froze when he heard Aki's words and saw the woman sleeping silently, apparently trying to preserve her strength.
A few hours after the complete destruction of Kyoshi Island, Admiral Zhao wrote a detailed letter, trying not to get lost in the astonishment of witnessing divine power in his eyes, with a certain madness implanted in his already troubled soul in search of greatness.
