Avatar: The Lost Earthbender

After the death of Avatar Korra, The Whole world entered an Era of Peace and Balance established by Korra. It became a better place and nearly perfect. Over time, when the next Avatar did not show up, People from all over the came to a final conclusion: The Cycle of Avatar has ended. Avatar Korra became the last Avatar and as stated by her, The Avatar Cycle was broken when Rava, the spirit of Light was forced out of her body and was beaten badly by Vatu, the spirit of darkness on the day of Harmonic Convergence. Although Avatar Korra defeated Vatu at last and again re-bonded with Rava, her connection with the other Avatars broke apart and so was the Avatar Cycle. Peace and Balance lasted in the world for another fifteen years when a new threat appeared from the depths of darkness and the balance was once again disrupted. Nations tore apart in a newly waged war and chaos surrounded the whole world. It was then, The next Avatar revealed himself to the world. The new Avatar was an Earthbender named Aaron. He must retrieve what was lost by his past life and once again restore balance in the world while fixing the errors made by the last Avatar, Korra.

The Truth

Aaron and Lunatok sneaked out of the city gates of Omashu just when the United Forces attacked the city and took the Earth King, Kwuin as their captive. They seized all of the Omashu and several soldiers surrounded the paths leading to different sections of the city.

"What are you looking at Aaron?" asked Lunatok as he saw Aaron looking at the burning Omashu. Tears rolled down his face.

"I will come back! Omashu, I will retake you but I must leave for now to reach the Island of four Sages," yelled Aaron while gritting his teeth.

"Let's go, Aaron! we need to get out of here and get you down to Island. of Four Sages to resume your training," said Lunatok nudging Aaron to hurry up.

"No! I would not abandon my city in times of crisis and need," argued Aaron as emotions swelled deep within him.

"No Aaron, You cannot do that. Remember what Master Meng told us and it is important for saving Omashu."

A few hours ago,

"Master Meng, why you took us here?" asked an astonished Lunatok.

The three of them were at the shrine dedicated to the First Human Earthbenders of the world. The shrine was made up of wood and stone. It had a statue of 'Oma' and 'Shu', The one who founded the city of Omashu.

"I took you both here because there are some things that must be revealed to you both a year ago but, I am afraid that the members of Pink Lotus got better of it and kept it a secret to keep you safe," told Master Meng.

"What is Pink Lotus, and what things you should have told us?" questioned Aaron.

"First of all, You both must go to the Island of Four Sages, that place would help you find your destiny and there is someone whom you should meet there," answered Master Meng.

"Whom we should meet, and where is the Island of Four Sages," asked Lunatok curiously.

"Island of Four sages is south of Omashu and is covered by fog all the year-round so, it remained hidden from warmongers. But, don't worry about that because you would be able to find it," assured Master Meng.

"Oh Okay, I see," said Aaron observing everything said by Master Meng.

"Aaron, You have a far greater destiny and a path full of obstacles and difficulty. You must make decisions based on your wisdom and not out of emotions or feelings," warned Master Meng as he patted Aaron's head.

"Could you please tell us What is Pink Lotus?" asked Lunatok.

"You always are a curious one Lunatok. Pink Lotus is a secret society founded by Avatar Korra. Its sole duty is to protect its people and maintain peace and balance in the world. It also deals with preparing warriors of the new generation." told Master Meng.

"But, they failed to fulfill their duties," muttered Aaron under his breath.

"They might have failed but, They did something even greater. I must tell you both that, the Avatar is about to be revealed to the World very soon. The members of Pink Lotus veiled him to protect him. When Avatar Korra died, She left many enemies behind her which brought threat to her next life." explained Master Meng.

"What! I thought the Avatar Cycle was broken when Vatu took out Rava from her body and beaten her badly, at last, consuming Rava," said Aaron with a surprising tone.

"It's true the Cycle is broken but, Partially."

"Partially, What do you mean?" asked Lunatok.

"I mean to say that when the spirit of darkness beat the spirit of light, the connection of Avatar Korra broke with her past lives making her the last Avatar of the First Generation and The First Avatar of Second Generation of Avatars," explained Master Meng.

"What! First Generation?" asked Aaron and looked at Lunatok wide-eyed.

"And, Second Generation?" asked Lunatok and looked at Aaron wide-eyed.

"No need to sound so surprised. We believed at this theory at first and then our belief turned into reality when we found the next Avatar," said Master Meng.

"This means all this time you were just hiding the Avatar from all over the world?" asked Lunatok.

"That's Right. We did it to keep him safe until he's ready enough to face the threats looming over the world," replied Master Meng.

"So, Where's the Avatar right now?" asked Aaron looking into the eyes of Meng.

"Aaron, You would soon find out but until then, You must know that the world is in grave danger and this is all because of Avatar Korra," said Master Meng.

"What did Avatar Korra do to drive the world in danger?" questioned Aaron.

"She opened the Spirit portals thinking that it would. bring peace, harmony, and balance between the two worlds but, it drove the world many years back resulting in the ultimate chaos and unbalance," answered Master Meng.

"Is it worth. I mean what is there we could do about it?"

"You would find all the answers when you both reach on the Island of Four Sages," assured Master Meng.

"I see. Then, we must go to the Island of Four Sages," said Lunatok curling his fists.

"I think you both should leave before its too late," warned Master Meng.

Master! Master! We are under attack, The United Forces have surrounded us from all directions." informed a man coming into the temple.

"Leave right now! All the Masters would be able to distract the soldiers and buy you both some time to escape," ordered Master Meng.

"No, We would drive off these good for nothing soldiers too," argued Aaron.

"You must understand Aaron. Believe me, You are born with greatness and one day you will return here. But for now, leave immediately and let us cover you." told Master Meng while looking in the eyes of Aaron.

"You are not going anywhere." came a voice from behind.

"The United Forces! I will hold them off. Just go." said Master Meng and swirled his arms to upturn the ground beneath the soldier making the soldier fall to his knees.

"Go now, don't worry we will be fine. We may have lost the battle but, we would win the war," assured Master Meng while he locked the wrists and toes of the soldier to restrict his movement.

"Aaron! Aaron!" called out Lunatok snapping Aaron out of his thoughts.

"We are at the port. Now let's get into that ship and remember that we must go forward by swimming when we reach in the middle of the ocean," explained Lunatok while pointing at a large ship of about two stories and was painted in colors of white and green.

"Yeah, I remember that now, let's go inside."

"Now, this seal which was given by the Earth King, Kwuin would come in use."

Aaron and Lunatok walked to the entrance of the ship and were stopped by the guards from entering the ship.

"Where are your tickets and passports?" enquired one of the guards.

"We have the seal of the Earth King," said Lunatok and flashed the seal out in his hands.

"Sorry, sir, Please go in. We hope you have a great trip ahead." said the other guard and both the guards stepped aside to make way for Aaron and Lunatok to pass.

Aaron and Lunatok walked inside the ship silently. After entering the ship they both ran up to the decks and started laughing loudly. A guard passing by glared at them and both again became quiet.

"I loved the looks on the face of the guards who were at the entrance," said Lunatok and started laughing once again.

"Lunatok, We must think of a plan to save Omashu," said Aaron in a serious tone.

"I know how you are feeling right now and I feel the same," said Lunatok and patted the back of Aaron.

"No, I must think in the right way and not act in haste. I think we should first go to the Island of Four Sages and then, follow the trail," suggested Aaron.

"Yeah, I too think that would be right." agreed Lunatok.

"Hmm... but for now, let's get over with it and relax a bit until we reach our point of the ocean," suggested Lunatok.

"Yeah, I should rest a bit before following the destiny that lay ahead of me." agreed Aaron and went to a nearby bench. He lay down and closed his eyes and soon blacked out.
