I began writing because I simply couldn't find stories similar to what I wrote and for those that are written, I have already read them. Or they go on indefinite Hiatus and then I feel empty inside. What to expect? -Strong Mc to even more OP MC -MC is Cold and Cunning / If he does something out of good will, it is because it will benefit him. -MC is Non-Human -Side characters that each serve their purpose / and aren't just forgotten. -Slow paced build up and a few time skips but small jump skips. -Decent World building is a must -No Harem/ but some small romance -Kingdom building -System/ but won't focus too much on crunching numbers. It will be kept at reasonable numbers. -1 chapter a day keeps the reader at bay. -Each chapter is 1,300 to 1,700 words. Chapter 49: Death battle part 1
The royal guards stationed around the booth area immediately grabbed Geppeto by his arms, hoisting him up by force at the sudden request by the King. The king had apparently taken great offense to Geppeto not taking off his mask and showing his true face in front of him.
"As for YOU," the king turned towards Lord Roriksten. "I, King Eldor Von Rodden, gave you face when the court called out your false claims of this secret weapon you allegedly have. Instead, you bring a rodent from the wastelands, from which all commoners are born in, so he may come here in my own home and disrespect me like this. You're lucky; I am feeling generous today and will only have him beaten instead of beheaded!" said the king with a calm yet authoritative tone.
It seemed that the king, whose name was Eldor, had misjudged the situation. "Your Majesty, I beli-" Lord Roriksten tried explaining before he was interrupted.
