The Ugly Queen (End)

I helplessly watched C2 grab the egg from my chest. C1 and C3 grabbed the two women beside me and stepped back alongside C2.

C4 and C5 were on the border of falling unconscious. The skin on their hands had melted and deformed after being burned by my flames.

The ranged attacks also paused after C2 took the egg from me.

"Do you admit defeat?" C2 questioned.

"Why should I? Once your shadow bond ends, I will defeat you easily." I shrugged.

"You really think you can do that? I can order the twenty people behind me to resume their attacks. We will vanish inside the shadows and all those attacks will land on you. The wall of flames around Ana will disappear after that."

I did not know how to reply to that. C2's words were true. If all of the ranged attacks hit me at once, the damage dealt would be enough for the wall of flames to vanish.
