Ryu's POV

Everything behind me exploded into fire as I augmented my arm to be steel hard and have fire and lightning around my arm. I punched the ground as hard as I could and the impact destroyed everything, creating a huge earthquake, destroying everything in its path.

"Not good enough." said Demon

"Huh?!" I gasped in confusion

"You can destroy an earth with that but right now I'm training you to destroy a universe with just a single punch." she replied

"But why would I want to destroy the universe?" I asked

"I told you, there's still universes out there that I haven't discovered." replied Demon

"Yea yea you told me that for the past 200 years we've been together." I said while smiling

"Technically we've been together for 200 days." replied Demon

"You're a fool." sighed Thunder

"I keep forgetting." I sighed

"Time in hell and in the worlds are different." said Thunder

"Yes I know, one day in here is one year out there." I said, "I thought it was the opposite."

"I could control time in here, do you want that?" asked Demon

"Well, no I like spending time here with you, just the two of us." I said while smiling

"And you two always forget about us two." snapped Phoenix as he came out of Demon's back

"At least you two have your fun out here." replied Demon

"You two have the most fun." replied Thunder

"Come on we don't do it that often." I replied

"5 times a week for 5-6 hours a day is long you fool." said Thunder

My cheeks turned red and Demon looked away.

"Well it's a good time consumer." I replied awkwardly

"And a good workout." said Demon

"You take it as a workout?" I asked

"No that's just an excuse." replied Demon, "Anyways you still can't seem to master it."

"I know I can't, it's hard." I replied, "I don't know what's missing."

"It's your mindset, you have to think that you want it no hesitation." said Thunder

"No hesitation." I whispered

I looked at my right hand and sighed.

"But destroying the universe, doesn't seem to suit me. Can I save this for later?" I asked

Demon tilted her head a bit in confusion.

"Like can I learn something else?" I clarified

"Yes of course." replied Demon, "Your specialty is augmentation."

She then pointed at me.

"But I noticed something about you." said Demon, "You can't seem to augment an ocean on the other side of the planet."

"I can do that?" I questioned

"Try it." she said

I tried to augment the lava in hell from afar but I couldn't feel any connection.

"Oh, I can't feel a connection." I said

"Let your emotions out, nothing can be inside of you." said Demon

"That's not that easy." I complained

But I just sighed and closed my eyes and began to empty my mind but then I felt something start to creep up on me.

"What the-"

"Focus, even if you feel something focus." I heard Demon

I felt something crawling up on my leg but I just tried to ignore it and began trying to empty everything in me. I began to focus on controlling augmenting weather on the other side of this hell dimension but the problem was that I couldn't tell if anything was happening.

"Keep on doing what you're doing." said Demon

"Is it even working?" I asked

"Yes." replied Demon

I decided to continue doing what I was doing but the thing creeping up on me was not up to my stomach and it was getting really uncomfortable.

I began to lose focus and I heard Demon sigh and she just snapped her fingers and the weird feeling around me disappeared.

"You still need practice." said Demon

I nodded and rubbed my hands together but then my alarm rang on my wrist watch.

"I need to go see my mom." I said

"Okay, be safe." said Demon

"I'm always safe." I replied

I quickly teleported to earth prime on a floating city which was the new capitol of earth prime. I quickly changed while using the white mist around me as cover. I quickly put on some regular civilian clothes and then ran down the streets to find the apartment my mom lives in.

"Why can't you just use your augmentation to find her?" asked Thunder

"I like it this way." I replied

I got to this circle near the center of the city right next to the palace where there was a statue of me.

"There's really no need for a statute." I chuckled

"Hey mommy look it's him!" I heard someone a child yell from behind

I turned around and saw a kid who was pointing at me while holding onto the hand of his mom. I just smiled and waved before leaving to head towards the apartment.

I found the apartment and entered the lobby and got on the elevator and pressed a button, leading to the top floor. I looked out the window which showed the view of the entire floating city. My mom lives in a penthouse so it's really nice, makes us feel rich even though my mom doesn't really work. She tries to help as much as she can but the queen gave her a lot of privileges because of me.

I exited the elevator once the door opened and began walking through the hallway, looking for my mom's apartment room. I found it and knocked on the door and then my mom opened the door and her eyes widened when she saw me.

"It's been a long mom." I said while smiling

My mom hugged me and cried a bit in happiness, it's been a year for her since the last time we saw each other but it's only been a day for me.

"You only visit once a year and it's been 200 years now." said my mom

"Hell is different, I can't really tell time when I'm down there." I said

"Come in." she said

I entered the apartment room and took a seat on the couch.

"How's Tweety bird doing?" asked my mom

I laughed and I heard Thunder sigh inside of me.

"I'm doing fine ma'am, thank you for asking." replied Thunder as he came out of me.

"How's your year been?" I asked

"The same, nothing terrible has been going on but I do remember the queen sending me this." said my mom

She handed me an envelope.

"Why didn't she just send an email through the transponder?" I asked

"I don't know but it's for you." said my mom

I took the envelope and opened it, inside was a folded paper with a mark that I assumed was the queen's stamp.

I opened it and it was a nicely handwritten letter from the queen, written a week ago from the present time. I began reading it and I raised an eyebrow as I sat on the couch while reading it.

"Someone seems to be interrupting with the dimensions." I said

"Someone has the courage to do that now huh..." commented Thunder

"Work?" my mom asked worried

"Possibly, it looks like an emergency." I said

"But why send me the letter?" asked my mom

"I don't know, looks like it's confidential information." I replied, "I'll contact the queen right now."

"Do you want anything?" asked my mom

"No no it's fine, I'll be staying here for quite some time." I replied

"You always stay home for about 2 months." replied my mom, "Will Demon visit again?"

"I know and about that maybe, she doesn't like showing herself in public." I said

She nodded so I walked up the stairs and entered my room and tapped on a screen on the wall, it was like a long body mirror but it was a touch screen. I contacted the queen and waited until she responded, she was sitting on her throne with a few knights next to her.

"My queen." I quickly greeted

Thunder flapped his wings and landed on my shoulder

"Thunderbird, Ryu it's been long." she said

"Well yes it has." I replied, "I received the letter."

"Yes if you don't mind you have to come here for briefing." said the queen

I didn't really want to since my mom hasn't seen me for a year but what choice do I have?

"I'll try my queen." I replied

She nodded and ended the transmission so I left the room where my mom looked a bit worried.

"Are you leaving?" she asked

"Sorry, looks like it's an emergency. I didn't think anyone would want to mess up with time travel but seeing that they need my help it must be big." I said

"I understand, you're going to come back either way." she said while brightly smiling

I nodded and opened the window that leads to the huge balcony.

"I'll be back before you know it." I said

"Both of you be careful at work." said my mom

I nodded and jumped off the balcony and fell down the 120 story apartment and I quickly flew towards the palace with Thunder flying next to me.

"And you said you don't want the attention." said Thunder

"It feels nice to fly once in a while." I replied

In less than a second landed on the front gate of the palace where there was the knight captain wearing a red robe but this person had a different helmet from most of the knights. He had one of those helmets where you can see the eyes, nose and mouth, like a spartan helmet but silver.

"Sir." greeted the captain

I quickly used the mist to change back into my gear, now they changed it so that it's a lot easier to change, we don't have to use a machine to wear it anymore. You just have to tap your watch and your gear starts wrapping around you except for your sword so I summoned my sword and clipped it onto my back.

"The queen's waiting for you." said the captain

The gate opened and I was led inside the palace.

"Umm, if I can talk to you I just wanted to say that I'm a huge fan of you." said the captain

"Oh it's nothing you can talk." I replied while smiling in embarrassment

"My father was in the battle captain of one of the platoons protecting the capital during the invasion." said the captain

"I see so how long have you been a captain for?" I asked

"Oh I just got promoted as a captain. It's hard to be promoted especially since the knights of earth prime is a very strict and tough duty." replied the captain

"I see." I replied

"Oh how rude of me I forgot to introduce myself, call me Aragorn." said the captain

'Like the guy from Lord of the Rings.'

"I wanted to join the MVA so I could work beside you." he said while smiling, "Sorry if I sound a bit annoying."

"No don't worry about that but can't knights not travel between dimensions?" I asked

"You have to be really lucky to be able to do that." replied Aragorn

"I see." I replied

"This boy is very mouthy." said Thunder

'Calm down he's just excited.'

"He's a bit more than 200 years old yet he acts like a child." scoffed Thunder

'Why are you so sassy today?'

"Sassy? Me? I don't know what you're talking about." replied Thunder who sound offended

We entered the throne room and there was a bunch of soldiers mostly from the MVA.

"You didn't tell me the MVA was here." I told Aragorn

"Sorry." apologized Aragorn

I didn't like it when I was the center of attention, it gives me anxiety.

"Ryu." called out the queen

I quickly approached her and bowed and in the corner of my eye I saw Kishimoto, Lydia and earth prime Ryu.

"I'm glad you can come." said the queen

I just scratched the back of my neck.

"Lydia please proceed." said the queen

Lydia nodded and the room became dark and she pulled out a hologram of the multiverse that filled the entire room.

"Recently we've been receiving reports of a man who traveled between dimensions, stealing things for his own profit." said Lydia as red dots began to appear on the planets.

"Should the MVA be taking care of that guy?" asked Thunder

"But the thing about this man is that it seems that they attack multiple planets at the same time." said Lydia

I scratched my chin in confusion.

"Clones?" I asked

"No their blood test came out differently and they're not different versions." said Lydia

"Can I see the DNA results?" I asked

She took away the planets and showed me the DNA results.

"Okay if you look over there the DNA strands are different from each other yet they have the same appearance." I said, "Are you sure you're not going through an illusion?"

"If it is an illusion we were never able to break out of it." said Lydia

I nodded in acknowledgment.

"Ryu you're going to have to take this one." said Lydia, "You're the only one who has the power of a god-"

"Please don't, I'm no god I hate being called a god." I interrupted

"Sorry but you're the only one here who has the power to break out of an illusion." said Lydia

"I'll take it, it shouldn't take too long." I said
