Betrayal

Ryu's POV

I was inside the camp and everyone was staring at me. I had my gear off so I was just wearing normal civilian clothes but everyone else looked like they were wearing some kind of winter uniform.

"Ryu, here's some food." said Fuku

"I'm okay, don't worry about me." I replied

"Are you sure?" asked Fuku

"I'm sure." I replied

I just pulled out another cigarette and sighed as I watched the others just eat joyfully.

"These people were starving for a long time." said Pops, "I want to thank you for helping us."

"Don't mention it." I replied

I looked down and saw Killy and Cibo working on some things.

"Do you see?"

I looked at Pops but he didn't seem to be paying attention to me.

"Did you say something?" I asked

"No, all I said was that I wanted to thank you for helping us." replied Pops

"Do you see?" whispered a voice

I got up and looked around.

"See what?" I whispered

"Do you see all of this?" said the same voice

That's when I saw something, the wind began to circle around one spot and everyone slowly got up and backed up.

"Get everyone to safety." I said

"Everyone get to the tower!" yelled Pops

I pressed the button on my watch and my gear wrapped around my body. White mist began to form on the same spot and then there was a bright flash forcing me to cover my eyes. But once the bright light died down standing there was a man in white rags, he was elegant almost like someone who you wouldn't suspect would be a villain. But the one thing that I couldn't keep my eyes off was his golden mask, it looked like a human mask but it had two holes for its eyes but completely dark on the inside, it had lips and some weird designs to it.

'This must be the mask Aerin was talking about.'

"Who are you? Jesus?" I asked

"I am." he replied

I raised my eyebrow.

'Is he lying?'

"I can't seem to read his emotions, I can't even scan if he has any vital organs." said Thunder

"Look around you. These people fight for survival but have you seen any of them sin?" asked the man named Jesus

"No not really." I replied

"Exactly, every other earth you've been to you saw all of them sin against order." said the angel

I stayed silent and just crushed my cigarette.

"Okay and what are you going to do?" I asked, "Destroy every earth that's filled with sin?"

"Precisely, people here deserve peace but the others don't. No they deserve hell." said Jesus

"Your name is not Jesus is it?" I asked

He laughed and shook his head.

"Call me Oracle." he said

"Oh, okay Oracle what do you want?" he asked

"Control over the entire multiverse, I can unite all the worlds together. I can make all of us become one." he said, "Can't you see it? Such a bright future for all of us!"

"By destroying sinful worlds?" I questioned

"Of course." said Oracle

I sighed and rubbed the back of my neck.

"Join me, together we can rule the multiverse, heaven and hell." said Oracle

"Heaven and hell?" I questioned, "You have your own heaven? I'm so confused, are you Christian?" I asked

"Don't say that filthy word, what has God done?" asked Oracle

"I just started learning so I'm not sure but I know for sure," I reached for the handle of my sword, "God won't allow you to do that."

I stopped time and I rushed to him and swung my sword towards his head but suddenly my body froze, the tip of the blade a centimeter away from Oracle's neck.

"What..." I gasped

Time resumed and Oracle looked at my sword and shook his head.

"How disappointing." said Oracle

He then flicked my forehead and I went flying straight into a wall and I kept going through. I felt my head ringing in pain as I continued to crash through layers of walls. I finally slowed down and crashed into a watchtower and I collapsed onto the floor.

"Shit." I groaned

I got up but suddenly there was a great shadow hovering over me. I looked up and gasped when there was a giant circle that looked like some sort of Doctor Strange type of magic. That's when a giant hammer came out and was falling down towards me. I quickly blasted to my left but then a portal opened and I accidentally went through it and now I was back in the same spot.

"Fuck me." I groaned

I punched the hammer and it shattered into multiple pieces but then the pieces transformed into bright yellow lights in a form of arrows, all of them were aimed at me and they shot towards me.

I began dodging them as fast as I could but there were too many so used the wind to blow them all away. I quickly tapped the SOS button but suddenly Oracle was in front of my face and he tried to punch me but I teleported behind him and I summoned fire around my right leg and tried to kick his head but he dodged it with ease.

"Ryu!"

I looked up to see Kishimoto in the air falling down towards me. He trapped Oracle using cement from the ground so I hardened my fist and punched his mask as hard as I could and when I made contact the ground broke and exploded but he didn't even flinch.

"What the-"

Oracle exploded out from the cement and grabbed my face and a laser blasted out of his hand burning my face. I flew back a few yards before healing my face and stopping myself. Kishimoto landed next to me and he looked confused.

"He's as strong as you." said Kishimoto

"Yea I know, be my backup." I said

I ran towards him as fast as I could but he was just as fast as me, maybe even faster. Kishimoto tried grabbing him by using the metal around us but we were too fast.

"Fall back Ryu!" yelled Thunder

"I can't have him destroy this world!" I yelled back

I shot 8 million lightning volts at him destroying everything in its path but the Oracle simply raised its arm and blocked it.

"Ryu you have to leave!" yelled Thunder

I lunged towards the Oracle and tackled him and kept crashing through blocks, buildings and other things.

"So pathetic." said Orcale

He hit my back and I crashed down onto the ground and he stomped on my back and I felt my spine break and I screamed in pain, I lost feeling in my legs.

"You can't see the bigger image." sighed Oracle

But then I saw Kishimoto summon multiple metal spikes from the ground and they extended towards Oracle. Oracle raised his hand up and the spike crashed into some kind of invisible wall but this gave me time to heal my back so I got up and uppercut his chin and he went flying high into the clouds. I augmented the clouds on top of me to form and then made multiple red lightning bolts hit Oracle.

"You're pitiful." came a voice behind me

I turned around and Oracle slapped my face and I flew away towards Kishimoto allowing him to catch me.

"Ryu we need to retreat." said Thunder

"Let's just call in Demon." I replied

"I'm already here."

Demon and Lydia landed in front of me and slowly stood up straight.

"So who's he?" asked Demon as she helps me up

"His name is Oracle." I replied

"So Demon, you finally decide to face me." called out Oracle

Demon sighs and rolls her eyes.

"You're our main target." said Oracle

Demon turns around to look at Oracle but he suddenly stops dead in his tracks.

"W-wait..." whispered Oracle

He raised an arm causing me to step forward in front of Demon.

"Ada?" he called out

"Who the hell is Ada?" I asked

"That's, Demon's real name." whispered Thunder

I turned around to look at her and her eyes were wide.

"Who's Ada?" asked Kishimoto

"Demon, how does he know your name?" asked Lydia

"You're Ada?" I questioned

"Who are you?" asked Demon as she started approaching him, "How the hell do you know my name?"

"Wait Demon!" I called out

I grabbed her arm, stopping her but she tried to get to him. Oracle then raised both of his arms and grabbed his mask and slowly took it off revealing his face. Demon stopped tugging her arm from my grasp and instead backed up and covered her mouth.

"Aiden?" she whispered

"Ada." he whispered

'What the hell is going on?'

Thunder didn't reply so I drew my sword and pointed it at Oracle.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked

"Ada, I thought you were dead." said Aiden

"I, I thought you were dead. Why didn't you come back to me?!" she asked

"Huh?" questioned Kishimoto

"Demon, who is he?" I asked

Demon looked at me and her eyes were tearing up confusing me even more.

"He's, he was my first boyfriend." she replied while looking away

My heart stopped beating and sank like an anchor.

"Ada, this is perfect." said Aiden while smiling, "We can be together forever."

He was smiling and crying at the same time.

"All you have to do is join me." he said

"Okay enough of the fucking reunion we get it but I still can't allow you to destroy the other earths." I said

"Ada, your powers with the powers of the Phoenix we can achieve anything you and I want." said Aiden, "We can make our promise come to a reality."

'Promise? What promise?'

"Lydia, Kishimoto, get the humans living here off this planet." I said

"Ryu are you sure?" asked Lydia

"Our fight is going to go off the scale." I replied

Lydia and Kishimoto left, leaving the three of us.

"Ada..." whispered Aiden

"Demon you're not going to actually side with him right?" I asked

'Thunder.'

He didn't reply and I was getting anxious.

"Ada, join me, if I can get my hands on the Phoenix and Thunderbird then we'll have the power. We can live the life we both wanted and dreamed of together." said Aiden

Demon was tearing up and she quickly wiped her eyes and drew her sword and Aiden looked surprised.

"Sorry about that Aiden." I said

But then Aiden just smirked and I was confused until I felt something pierce through my back from behind. I looked down at my chest and there was a purple blade sticking out from my chest. I coughed out blood and collapsed onto my knees and looked behind me to see Demon holding the sword.

"D-Demon..." I whispered

"Sorry, but I love Aiden." she whispered, "And I'm going to take Thunder away from you."

I couldn't believe this was happening, why, why would she do this? She placed her hand on my chest and began extracting Thunder out of me but I didn't feel any pain, I was way too hurt to even feel my emotions.

"I'm sorry." whispered Demon

She pulled her arm away extracting Thunder out of me and she put it into herself. I began to feel weaker and weaker by the second and my vision began to blur.

"Wait, I need to take his augmentation away." said Aiden

He grabbed me by the neck and lifted me up and began extracting my powers away, making me slowly lose consciousness.

"D-Demon..." I whispered and I tried to reach for her but I collapsed onto the floor and fell into darkness.

30 minutes later

Lydia's POV

"Medic!" I yelled

I rushed around with Kishimoto who was carrying Ryu.

"Doc we need you!" I yelled

"Clear the table!" he yelled

Other doctors cleared the table and Kishimoto laid Ryu on the desk.

"I got a weak pulse, there's nothing we can do." said Doc, "But the Queen can."

"Then get her here!" I yelled

Doc began contacting people and after about five minutes of the doctors trying their best to keep Ryu's heart beating the queen came with Aragorn and Aerin.

"Your majesty please you have to save him." I pleaded

"Sir! What happened?" asked Aragorn

"I don't fucking know, we just found him just please save him!" I yelled

"Oi oi she got this, give her some space." said Kishimoto

I sighed and just stepped aside for the queen. She examined Ryu and she touched his chest and suddenly she kissed his lips, confusing me.

"The pulse is getting stronger." said Doc

That's when Ryu gasped and sat up panting.

"Ryu!" I gasped

He looked at me with wide eyes then at the others.

"Where's Demon?" he asked
