ALMH Chapter 50: Night of the Yokai Part 2
Yori's barrier touched down and surrounded thousands of soldiers. Unfortunately, hundreds more didn't make it in time. A beam of green energy shot out from the center of the forest and quickly spread across the sky. Before they had a chance to register what was happening green rain fell from the sky and covered the soldiers underneath. They contorted and transformed into monstrous beasts filled with bloodlust. They ran for the barrier and were disintegrated.
Sasha and the other girls stared out at the sea of yokai with dread and determination. They were no match for yokai lord and his army, but they too knew that the fate of the Valoran army was in their hands. The yokai let out a chorus of wails, the cries of the dead and the dying mingling together in a dissonant choir. Sasha's heart raced as she prepared to defend against the wave of oncoming creatures.
As the yokai drew closer, Sasha and the rest of the girls backed away, creating a line of defense.
