"Yes Cedrick?" He was my trusted advisor and he has always been with me, through thick and thin. He was my best friend and he still is.
"What or who do you think they are that did such a thing amongst our people?"
"Honestly Cedrick I do not know. I hope our people didn't do anything stupid."
"We wouldn't except our hands were forced your majesty."
"I know, besides I ensured for a lock down" I sighed, I wished this carriage would go faster.
"What troubles you Draco?"
He usually called my name when he knows something was troubling me.
"The explosion" I lied.
"What really is bothering you?"
"I want to be sure Leia and Isadora are okay. That's why I want to get to the palace quick. I am having this feeling. I just can't put my mind to it" I explained.
"They would be fine, they were in the palace when we left" he tried to assure me to put my mind at ease.
The two of us kept quiet for a minute, then it clicked, I made sure a lock down happened to prevent our people from venturing close to the Elves. All were to obey except one.
The one I saw leave before the lock down happened.
Then the magic, no one pissed such great magic as hers. I first thought they were a group of mages, but now I know better. No group of mage could do such once, especially not after my order.
It all made sense now, the power of the magic, no wonder we felt it this far and the uneasiness in my heart.
"Isadora" Cedrick and I looked at each other as we called her name.
"STOP!! "
I shouted as the carriage came to a stop. Cedrick and I rushed out of the carriage.
"Maximus, Della, Oberon and Phillip head to the palace with the carriage and inform the queen about this. Cedrick, Adrazelle, Alatar and I would head in the direction of the explosion."
"Yes your majesty" they chorused without questioning my order.
Quickly, we got on four horses, leaving the rest with two horses and the carriage.
I nodded at them and started my journey at a high speed.
Without wasting time, Cedrick and the others hit their horses and chased after me. Cedrick rode his horse at an alarming speed and caught up to me in no time.
"Draco" he simple called out as he turned his head to look at me. "What could make her lose control like that?"
I had a very serious expression on my face. I didn't look at him, but answered him nonetheless.
"For all my life is worth, I hope she is okay" I replied him as I hit the horse increasing my already fast speed.
Isadora has never done that before. I knew she was very powerful and the most powerful mage and fairy as she had both powers combined, but for her to do this.
It took us another one and the half hour to get close to where the explosion was.
As we neared the place, i saw a flare lit up. That only happened when the fight was out of control and they needed help.
"Your majesty, the fairies" Adrazelle called out.
"Yes, hyah" I hit my horse and as if it understood the urgency, it rode faster.
Fairies, there no doubt, Leia was there.
In another fifteen minutes we arrived there, I saw a scene that almost made me faint.
Dead bodies of Elves, a merman and a fairy. On a closer look, I saw the face of the fairy.
My wife and queen, Leia lying on the ground dead, my daughter fighting for all her life's worth. The fairies lending their power and fighting the merfolks.
Cedrick and the others didn't waste a minute, without understanding the situation, but seeing the Fairy Queen dead and the fairies and princess fight for their lives, they joined in.
I got myself back and joined the fight immediately. As I fought I cast a quick glance at my daughter and I could see the endless stream of tears as she fought.
I quickly put the pieces together and understood what had happened.
We fought on, in another ten minutes the merfolks were on the losing end. The mer-queen saw this and shouted for them to withdraw.
"Fall back" they all disappeared into the water.
A shadow flashed passed me, I turned my head to see and saw Isadora entering the water. Quickly I used my magic to hold her in place.
Adrazelle rushed after her and held her. That was when I let go of my powers on her; Adrazelle pulled her back to shore.
It was the first time ever, seeing my daughter like that.
The next minute, I heard the sound of hooves. My eyes trailed and I saw King Regin and his Elves.
