Reunited

Astasia was inside the a store, glaring at another woman. She was holding on to the bottom part of the red mini satin cami dress with slits on the side. [A/N: just search up the dress and it will appear on google lol]

"Excuse me, but I got this first," the lady tells a frowning Astasia, "I grabbed this first. You're the one who tried to steal this from me," Astasia replied.

"Excuse me! This lady tried to steal this from me!!" The woman yelled, causing the entire store to turn their attention at them. At this point, praying for the woman's head was the only thing Jack could do. He was on the sidelines watching the whole scene.

"I will give you three seconds to let go," Astasia said in a low, threatening voice as she grabbed a sword in her dimensional storage and pointed it to her neck, "One," she started the countdown.

It didn't take longer than half a second before she pulled away, "She's a hunter!"

"She's abusing her power as a hunter"

"What an arrogant bitch"

All kinds of comments were thrown at her, so even if the woman couldn't buy the dress, she felt like she won the little fight they had, but knowing Astasia's temper, it didn't end there, "Am I hearing a bunch of pigs talk shit about me? You, repeat what you just said," she pointed her sword at a random woman who spoke ill about Astasia.

When everyone witnessed this, they suddenly looked at each other and began to give her positive comments, afraid that they will be the next target, "That's what I thought. I would like to buy this dress," Astasia frowned while the cashier handled the payment with anxiety.

Meanwhile, the people inside SS-rank dungeon were fighting the boss. Everyone had gathered around huge boss that seemed like a lion, goat, and snake combined together, "Humans. Weak humans. Soon, this world will be ours," the boss spoke.

The frontline group was shocked, because only extremely strong bosses are able to speak but Medusa, who was not even a boss, was able to speak their language perfectly, "What the hell is going on..." Harry trembled while in his fighting stance.

"It would be nice if I could take on this boss myself. What do you say Rudolf?" Kai had his arms cross while calmly looking at the raging boss, "I trust you Kai, but we have planned to defeat it together. I can not afford for this operation to fail"

"I can't fight at my full power if these bunch of weaklings are in my way. Let me fight it alone,"

"You're strong. Probably stronger than an SS ranker, but I cannot agree to your request,"

"Tch. Whatever,"

     After Astasia finished shopping, she sat on a nearby bench and opened up her new phone, "Hey cutie, you wanna go somewhere with us? It's on me," three guys approached her. Among them, only one seem decent in terms of appearance, "Get lost," Astasia said while looking at her phone. She then took out a small piece of paper that contained her stepmother's number, but just as she was about to type, the guys had gotten closer to her face.

"Seriously! Get lost! This is the fifth time this happened to me today. What's up with people nowadays?" Astasia slapped his face causing him to slightly fly and harshly fall on the ground. Then, she summoned Jack, "S-she's a hunter?..... Ah, sorry lady. We won't bother you anymore. Take care!!"

"Jack, I don't want to be bothered. Take care of the people yourself,"

"Yes, Lady Astasia"

After copying the number on the phone, she nervously awaited for someone to answer the call. Will they still remember her? Will they remember her name? Or her face? All kinds of thoughts filled her mind, but she still kept the call until someone finally answered.

"Hello?" A deep voice answered. Judging from the voice, she immediately knew it was her little brother, "Hi Luke. It's Astasia,"

"Asha? ASHA?!" He yelled, causing the mother to scrunch her eyebrows. She was currently cooking lunch, "Lower your voice young man!"

"It's sister! Mom, come talk to her!" Luke excitedly say as he told Astasia that he missed her, but he knew that his mother missed Astasia more than anyone else, "Honey? Is it really you?" The mother had teary eyes while her hand was covering her mouth.

"Yes mom. It's me. How are you?" Astasia's heart clenched at the reunion. Although it was through the phone, she felt like she could tear up just by just hearing her voice, "I missed you Asha. I miss you. Please come home. I want to see you," the mother didn't hesitate to let out her feelings and thoughts as she said those with tears.

It felt as if this was the happiest moment Astasia's ever had to the point where she smiled gently for the first time in her life. Jack was able to witness this scene and his heart thumped at the sigh of her extraordinary beauty. A smile from her can surely wipe out an entire army, "Okay mom. I'll be there," she says before hanging up the call.

Then, she shared a quick eye contact with Jack and for some reason he felt awkward eavesdropping, "M-my Queen, I should get going now," Jack tried to avoid the awkwardness by leaving but Astasia smirked and commanded her to stay. She knew the awkwardness he was feeling and she wanted to torture him with it, for fun.

"My queen... You are cruel,"

"Yes. You knew that long ago"

After traveling for about an hour, she arrived in front of her family's house. They weren't her real family since she was adopted, but their bond was strong and irreplaceable, "Asha!!" Luke opened the door before she could even press on the doorbell.

The mother, Marie, and Luke didn't hesitate to run up to hug her. She was embraced tightly by the both of them until their arms got tired, "Let's eat lunch. I cooked a lot," Marie wipes her tears away.

The three of them had a reunion and chatted peacefully. She had hoped for this moment to last forever, the moment she always dreamt of when she was still in the planet of Aether.
