Life 8: The Girl With The Blue Hair

[The Demon's Dominion: This was what Adam had cultivated evolved and grew with a method unique to only him that was cultivated to the max by him and this was a method in which the body and the mind was strengthened and also invoked a sense of loyalty onto others-]

Hence the name Dominion and thus he as Li Yan the Immortal Assassin rose to great heights.

'With feathers flurrying through the skies and the demons through the earthy ground with the mortals in between both as a lynchpin- the Universe operates-

So if the ones with morality are superior to those without and the ones with arrogance above others- the universe swings like a pendulum constantly going through the three phases- darkness, light and neutrality-

This is my domain- this is my dominion with both the skies and the earth in my palms I move forward with unrivalled might - this is the Demon's Dominion.'

Chanting within his mind his bones slowly began to grow stronger and bigger as scriptures began to implant themselves within his bones as two words stood out- 'Demon's Dominion.'

Once class ended and the day was over Adam headed straight through the entrance as he headed home- his uncle had given one near the school as he had found it hard to acclimatise in the main house-

And as he began his trek home- he felt a slight tap on his back- he couldn't tell who it was and so cautiously turned around but as he did- he slowed down as his caution went away for some reason-

He had no idea why his body gave up like that but he acknowledged the person- a girl with blue hair stood there as she looked up at his face and wondered for a while-

"Adam? Is that you-" she said as she looked closer at Adam's face it felt weird like he was a specimen in a cage for some reason.

But even though he had merged his two souls he had no real idea of who this was maybe they met at some party his family had done- other than that nothing sprang in his mind.

Slightly scratching the back of his head he made an uneasy face as he said- "Sorry I have no recollection of you- do you know me?

I'm sorry but I was recently in an accident and have a bout of memory loss"

Saying that she nodded- "Yeah it makes sense- it is you Adam but your face has changed a lot- your face just looks better than before?"

Chuckling a little he replied- "Ah yes my face was heavily injured in my accident hence my face- it was reconstructed."

Hearing that the girl with blue hair looked quite sorrowful as if I and she had some form of relationship and hearing that her eyes hardened as she asked slowly- "So has the doctor said anything of you recollecting those lost memories?"

As he heard this the new being looked up at the skies as he said simply - "I don't know- I don't..."

But as he said this the girl turned even sadder as she looked at the ground whispering- "... Sometimes I wish I could forget a lot of stuff as well Adam..."

As the two began to walk forward slowly - Adam turned his gaze from the skies to in front of him as he noticed it was - "Shen Fei..."

His fiance he remembered his humiliation by her strongly as if it reignited a flame inside him as he remembered what his predecessor had to go through- but he let this anger this flame die down- after all, he decided he wanted a new life and a peaceful one at that.

"So you've changed your face up and you think you're something-"

Said Shen Fei as numerous snide remarks were ready to be launched at him- but Adam just smiled as he looked at her- directly into her eyes as his eyes burnt bright for a second or two as he said-

Nonchalantly with an air of utmost calm to him- "You still talk to me when it's obvious I don't like you- and also this engagement or whatever you have with me I don't want it- break it off or whatever-

I have better things to do my with my time Shen Fei- Come on let's go-"

Saying that Adam grasped the blue-haired girl's hand as he and she walked off happily.

As Shen Fei saw his nonchalant swagger- her eyes pierced holes multiple times into his body as she glared at the two walking off so happily-

And as Adam and his friend walked further the blue-haired girl smugly looked at him as she said- "You finally put that girl in her place- honestly I can't believe you did it."

"Honestly it was better to do it now than later else my life will be disturbed and become chaotic."

Finally, she turned to Adam as the two neared his home - "... and just so you know my name- you better remember it, Adam- its Rou-Lan- but you can call me Lan Lan."

With her name finally, in his head, he nodded as said her name out loud- "Lan Lan- Lan Lan- a beautiful name..."

But as Adam was about to turn Lan Lan gently tried giving him a little flick on his head but before that could even happen- her hand was already in his as a serious aura emerged from him - stopping her actions immediately- it was fast and incredible.

So much so that her eyes widened up as she said- "Your body it's like it's been tempered to the max- and those movements are incredible- you've- wait just how did an injury get you this strong..."

Listening to Lan Lan saying that- Adam sweatdropped as he said with worry- "Almost dying isn't worth it Lan Lan..."

As he said that Lan Lan thought for a while before nodding with him as she then looked him straight in his eyes with wonder-

"So then, just what are you gonna do after school? Any ideas- anything you want to do."

Hearing that from Lan Lan- Adam shook his head as he said- "Honestly I have no idea- and with Uncle Alvin's help I can live without working a single day-"

Hearing this she smiled as she placed a hand on his shoulder smugly saying - "Haven't you ever wanted something else in life- a little more adrenaline and action- no?"

After this Lan Lan stood in front of Adam as she said- "You've changed you don't put up with any humiliation- you no longer cower in front of others and you're more extroverted, the old you before couldn't even hold a conversation-

But you're different now- I feel like this is the beginning of a new life for you or more like that injury was a second chance- so what now- you gonna squander it, Adam?"
