Life 11: Fateful Encounter...? - I

With Adam in his efficient stance befitting that of an assassin with no drops of blood on him he looked directly at Su Yan's father in front of him with a slight smirk-

"Well- what are you waiting for I've demolished your men-"

As Adam said this- a bullet immediately flew straight to his head and instead of blocking the attack Adam grabbed the bullet out of the air as he said-

"Nice try-"

As he said this the former assassin's mouth morphed into that of a devilishly cruel smile

"I'm a nice guy hence why I'll let you live- so here catch this drop of blood-"

And as Adam said that a drop of blood from the floor floated upwards as he placed in some of his poisonous Qi within as it headed straight for the cowering man's mouth as his body took the droplet of poisoned blood his body began to swell as he gradually became sickly pale- as if one foot into death.

A technique of Adam's in his previous life as Li Yan was this poisonous blood droplet that could only be cured with his Qi so without it he'd live a painful death not able to live or die.

But he tried ducking the droplet at first- this caused his smile to grow even more as a faint aura of death wrapped around him with countless souls screaming in misery as he condensed this all and ripped his body in half-

And as he did this Su Yan- walked in with fear and shock written into his body as each step forward felt like an eternity as he saw his father finally at the end dead and In pieces-

And then he looked up at Adam's face as a phantom in red stood behind the boy he used to bully- this guy was freakish- he wasn't human and his face grew red- with sweat dropping like a waterfall.

But the boy instead looked at him grimly unlike the red phantom that was laughing behind Adam Li's body- it was an oxymoron- something abnormal that caused him to faint as his head fell on the ground with a thud.

However, those purple glistening eyes remained in his subconscious.

As Adam looked at Su Yan falling with a thud his indifferent expression turned back to normal as his killing intent was drawn back-

'Another Lesson resurfaced in his mind- Lesson 2: Defeat your enemies spirit before their body- win without fighting they called it- intimidation tactics that worked well in lodging heart demons within the enemies spirit that ate them alive.'

With a little bit of his Qi, he condensed using the Foundation Book he got from Uncle Fang he erased the boy's memories and turned the dead bodies into dust with their presence entirely gone.

And due to Su Yan's fathers irrational fear of being caught out when he tried to kill Adam he turned off all surveillance within the room-

Thus Adam was free to use the stairs with an inhuman speed that his presence disappeared.

And as he exited the building the Foundation Book burnt itself rapidly signifying that Adam had mastered the breathing technique that strengthened his body and his spirit.

It meant that he had gained a foundation in the cultivation realm within this world.

The next thing that was on his mind was finally getting a job or something as he was cut off from the family register and the inheritance was never going to go to him-

The only reason he was able to survive till now was because of Grandpa and Uncle Alvin- and now he had an apartment paid for by his uncle as a farewell if you will- this meant that he had to use his own money for food and clothes- education and the house was paid for by his uncle.

"Bruh- now just where will I get a job..."

'Now that I mention it I am pretty hungry and I'm not an immortal- I can't fast all year long now can I-'

As he said this he began walking home with hunger present in his stomach - but as he walked this path he ran into an ugly situation-

Some adults were trying to beat up some homeless guy on the side of the road behind the Minimart-

"Cheol- hurry up this motherf*cker actually bumped into me- break this guys legs now-"

As one of the three said this a lanky looking guy moved forward and chucked the homeless guy at the wall of the minimart- causing a loud rattling sound to occur as the helpless man's body seemingly gave up as he spat out some blood-

And as this happened the guy at the back of the two began to smirk as he looked at the guy's pain as if it pleased seeing people hurt that he considered worthless.

The guy at the back had distinctive brown hair and a handsome face that you'd see idols with- as he rushed forward and got into motion as if to use his boot and knock the homeless man's head off-

But this was- 'Enough' - as Adam dashed forward and grabbed the foot that threatened to break the helpless man's skull-

And with another movement, he swung him at the same wall of the minimart-

"How does it feel to feel what this man felt- you punk..."

Adam said calmly as he looked at the arrogant gangster lying on the ground with pain present in his eyes-

And the two with the brunette grabbed him and moved away immediately and Adam let them-

The gangsters or whatever they were fled desperately as Adam picked up two stones chucking them each at the two's legs skimming them both as a large gash appeared on their legs.

With that, he turned to the helpless man- bleeding out.

"Hey, you- okay?"

Asked Adam as he placed a hand on the man's shoulder propping him up-but as he said this the man with clearly not long left placed some sort of book in his chest-

"Take- It...-I thank you- Use It Well..."

And as the man died- Adam's Zhen Qi did nothing to stop his bleeding as if it was negated by this man- for some reason - and then a bright light exploded out that shook Adam back- and the man's body slowly turned into a bright blue light as it headed straight for the book in his arms.
