Trying to reach civilization

The boss was defeated. But not without causing me some serious damage. I wouldn't be surprised if some of my bones broke.

"shit... it's worse than I thought...".

"Haha... at least not all things are looking bad..."

I needed the Dark Mana Concentrate from the ant's body, but I couldn't even move my own properly. I needed to wait and heal up.

"Query! How do I heal Myself?"

[Query Received!]

[Required FP: 0]

[Answer: You can't use healing spells as you are a sorcerer and your mana is extremely rough. You would cause yourself and the target you're trying to heal to take damage instead. The only way you can heal yourself is through potions or just waiting and meditating. Just train your mana, and your body's self-healing capacity will be hastened.]

"Well, isn't that just great... Lets just meditate then.", I sat upright, and started the Syringe method of gathering mana. I wouldn't hold onto the accumulated mana though, I would just let it go freely.

After about 20 minutes, I was feeling a lot better. I then looked at the ant corpse. It had an absolutely disgusting smell. But I had to pull through.

I didn't know where the dark mana concentrate was, so I asked the guide. It imported the data in my brain and I started to cut the corpse with the help of 'Wind Blade' and tiny, but sharp particles of dust created using a very small sigil of 'Pebble Bullet'

I didn't use this combo while fighting the ant for two reasons: 1) I didn't want to damage the Dark Mana Concentrate by accident; 2) I didn't know what the ant's insides were like, if I accidentally punctured an acid gland, or a poison gland, it would not only kill the ant, but me too.

I also figured out a new thing in this fight. There are three ways you can cast a spell: Weak, Charged, Over-Charged. The electrocute spell that killed the ant was an Over-Charged spell. It takes much longer to cast, and it also drains a ton of mana. But the damage it does is absolutely phenomenal.

I concluded that before taking on another fight, I should Over-Charge 'Dark Press' and cast it on the enemy while it doesn't know where I am. This will have a much better effect than just simply charging it and casting.

I got the Dark Mana Concentrate after 15 minutes of cutting and digging.

But there was a problem. I now smelled so bad, it wasn't bearable anymore. I took off my clothes and threw them away. It didn't feel uncomfortable anymore, cause the smell was way too strong to care about things like that.

I asked the guide the route outside, and started to walk towards the surface.

I didn't want to keep exploring the dungeon in my current state, cause I had no armor and I also bottlenecked on the 2nd circle. I want to reach at least the 4th circle to even try to go any deeper into that dungeon. The fight this time was very lucky. I didn't know what I would have done if the ant didn't stagger at the perfect time for me to run away... I can't count on my luck... after all, I have one of the worst lucks in the history of humanity, haha...

Anyways, now, I had to get the Powdered Emerald, to make the Basic Elixir, to reach the 3rd circle. And this turned out to be a problem.

Getting the ingredient itself isn't a problem, but the place it's in is...

The only way I can get an emerald right now is from a jewelry shop, in the middle of a city. The problem is that, Right now, I am completely naked, and don't have any money on me.

I'll need a damn good plan to get myself some non-suspicious looking clothes... I tried asking the guide for instructions of obtaining clothes, but it imported a bunch of information related to knitting into my head instead...

"I know the city is west of here, and I know that there is a road that travelers use to go in and out of the city... maybe I can camp on the road and rob some people for their clothes...?"

The mere thought of me robbing someone, while completely naked and asking them to give me their clothes sent a shiver down my spine...

"No way... maybe if I begged?... that would at least look better than trying to rob someone..."

I decided to beg for clothes at the side of the road.

I reached my destination, the road, withing 3 hours of walking. I had covered my 'Precious Jewels', which were honestly quite on the 'Big' end of the scale, with leaves and other flora. I looked so ridiculous, just like a caveman...

By the way, while I was naked, I had looked at my body clearly. I was clearly more muscular than the average man... And my body felt very tight, and the skin was so smooth...

It reminded me of my time of when I was a kid... I wasn't particularly 'Super Handsome', but I was definitely 'Good-Looking' and capable of turning a few heads, thanks to my parents...

Remembering my parents left a bittersweet feeling in my head.

yeah... me is bac...

Anyways, sorry for making the MC a beggar out of the blue... But I promise it gets much better.

SPOILER WARNING - the mc becomes hella rich and has tons of influence in the later part of the novel.
