As Silent As A Mouse

I am being hunted. Well, not me exactly. Someone wants to get their hands on the genius behind A.M.K Pharmaceuticals. They just don't know it's me. I have discovered a way to negate anyone's scent, shifter or human. You would think it wouldn't be that big of a deal... deodorants promise the same thing, but my product is nothing like that. My product turns its wearers invisible to shifters. No, not like that. But shifters need scent more than almost anything else to identify and find a person. Without scent, they can't track down their prey, or smell an enemy coming up from behind. I had originally created it so my adopted father and I could avoid the shifter community. No one was supposed to know about it. Until a little birdy said something they shouldn't have to the wrong person. Now the humans are after me and the shifters want me dead. But that's fine. That wasn't the only thing I came up with. And if I am as silent as a mouse, no one will see me coming until it is too late. This will be a RH novel, the FMC will not have to choose. Demanding Attention

"We have a problem," grunted Caleb as he looked at the building in front of him. Flames licked the top of it as people all around him huddled together, crying softly.

"I'm a bit busy at the moment," grunted Raphael, but Caleb didn't give a fuck what the alpha was doing. Nothing was more important than this.

"You really aren't," he hissed back at the wolf. "I need you and your best men at Mouse's Haven as fast as possible."

"M.H? What's going on there?" Caleb could hear Raphael excuse himself from wherever he was, and the crow waited until everything was quiet over the phone.

"Someone burned it to the ground. We are missing 25 vulnerable shifters," Caleb hissed, turning his back to the fire. The woman beside him stood tall, watching as the flames devoured the safe house.
