Cain Livan Lucifer was born into the world of DxD, as the brother of Rizevim Livan Lucifer. But instead of being born during the end of the Great Holy War, he was born 500 years later. 

After catching a fleeting glimpse of his mother, he began his journey in this unknown plane.

Just a few years into his life he came very close to death and lost his mother figure to a traitor. Awakening his clan trait in anger he was finally not powerless.

Years passed and he worked hard after knowing that this was the world of DxD. At the tender age of ten he got his Lucifuge, Grayfia.

The bond between them was precious. He along with his brother and Lucifuges went to the Vatican and killed the pope.

It was surprisingly easy for them as Uriel didn't let any angels interfere due to the pope being corrupt.

In the young devil gathering he fought some of the strongest devils and won easily.

In this he met what would be his future wife, Zeaira Gremory. He also met the future satans, Ajuka, Serafall and Falbium.

He saved Zeaira from his brother, who was already on a warpath to make it look like that all devils are evil.

After a brief adventure with the future satans and opening their eyes to a new world of strength and making a deal with a goddess, he moved forward.

In a chance exploring he came across the angels of stars, Kokabiel resulting in a duel between them. Towards the end, Shemazai also joined, but Cain came out victorious.

But at a price, lost in a different world somewhere in the dimensional gap. The species residing there, the demons, were vicious and barbaric.

Led by the seven demon kings they would be feared anywhere. But they became an experience ground for Cain. In the next two decades Cain killed all of them, driving them to extinction.

In the midst of fighting a interracial war Cain lost his virginity to his maids in a night of passion. Along with finding a World Tree in the demon world.

Cain in the last fight with the two demon kings of Wrath and Pride, awakened his super devil form, winning easily and taking the world tree seed with him.

The explosion from the dimensional collapse hurled Cain into a divine realm, ruled by the Goddess of Night, Nyx.

Finding out that he was nursed to health by the famed Goddess and hearing her story, Cain vowed to help her.

Thus taking a divine being as his lover, Lucifer moved forward with his life. Cain lived a peaceful life for a few years 

But the devils were very close to a civil war and in a few years they started the war to end themselves.

But due to Rizevim being neutral and Cain leading one side along with the heirs of Gremory, Astaroth, Sitri and Glasya-Labolas, the victory came quickly.

The satan's descendants were not strong enough. With the Leviathan being dispatched by Ajuka, the Beezelbub descendents by Zeaira and Cain.

The little problems with the malebranche was solved by Cain, but at the cost of Gerhard Lucifuge's life.

The civil war marked the end after the battle between the Lucifers. The battle ended with the crippling of Euclid Lucifuge and death of Rizevim Livan Lucifer.

After the war Euclid went AWOL. To change the mood of the underworld, Cain celebrated his wedding with Zeaira, making her a Lucifer too.

(Volume 2)

Becoming the sole heir of Lucifer clan, Cain gained access to the book of Lucifer. In it were tales of his late father.

Cain also made a deal with the legendary devil, Mephisto Pheles, to work as the overseer of Ars Goetia, the devil ruling body.

To take care of the vast fortune of the Lucifer clan, Cain organised a secret competition to select a manager.

The winner was Rayla Phenex, surprising her by picking her up on the way to the Bael ball. Cain was intrigued by her 'service'.

That intrigue later turned into a budding romance and later he married her. Increasing his total number of wives.

Exploring the basement dungeon in his castle Cain found a piece of flesh. Thinking that nothing useless should be here, he went on to cure it using his mastery over demonic energy.

The end result ended up with him reviving the mother of all devils, the Succubus Queen, Lilith Livan herself.

After a tearful reunion between the son and mother and telling her the truth about Rizevim, Cain was overjoyed by the invention of Ajuka, the current Beezelbub.

The evil pieces greatly hastened the plans of Cain making Hell a separate faction from the underworld.

Soon after their discovery and discussing it with the other satans and his family, Cain was revealed that a Leviathan was still in the underworld.

This news was quickly hidden and the little Leviathan, Ingvild, was sent on a journey of self discovery at the behest of Serafall and Grayfia.

In order to create his peerage Cain went to find the famed Godslayer, Scathach. After finding her he fought a battle worthy of legends but he won in the end.

He did get surprised when it was revealed that this was not Scathach but both Scathach And Skadi fused, courtesy of Odin.

Soon after making her his peerage member on the condition that he will prove to be a great leader, he gained the allegiance of the witch of dun scaith.

Soon after that he managed to get Ereshkigal to join the devil faction due to the deal he made with her in the past.

He gained the dimensional core of the Mesopotamian pantheon and a goddess to take care of souls in the future Hell.

Later he again went out to find Morgan LeFay, to fill his bishop place. Finding her easily Cain convinced her of joining her after giving her the incentive of a world tree.

Soon after Cain put his sights on Olympus and Nyx, and the final part to create Hell began.

Making a deal with Olympus and getting the land from Hades, Cain also managed to recruit the famous Medusa and Echidna into his peerage.

Scamming the gods of Olympus, Cain managed to create Hell. With the help of the dimensional core, world tree and the various gods he had managed to win over in the past.

After quickly telling everyone the importance of a territory and domains, Cain went to make relations with the Norse and also to find a new peerage member.

Winning the challenge of Valhalla and fighting with Thor allowed Cain to easily make a good impression with the Asagrdians.

The battle was legendary and also helped Cain firmly make his strength known in the supernatural world.

Cain also succeeded in finding a peerage member in the form of Brynhildr. With the blessings of Odin and best wishes of Thor, Brynhildr left for Hell.

Cain made a quick detour and set up a trap for the angels, as he needed to talk with them and came back to Hell, with his new rook.

Cain introduces Brynhildr to Rayla and Morgan. Then the party of four went to meet Scathach, due to the Valkyrie's being fangirls for the Godslayer.

Cain and Rayla were interested in seeing the interaction. Now we continue the saga of Cain.

Third Person PoV

Brynhildr was standing rooted in her place watching Scathach gracefully twirled the spear in her hand and easily parrying Medusa's attack.

Scathach's eyes moved towards to see Cain and nodded at him, acknowledging his presence and then looked at the new being.

Cain moved and pinched Brynhildr.

"Uwahh!"

She looked at Cain with retribution in her eyes. How dare he try to ruin her image in front of Scathach-sama.

"Now go and talk with the two of them before I really start ruining your image. Remember I am the devil."

Brynhildr straightened up and walked in between the two people in the arena.

"Greetings, Scathach-sama. I am Brynhildr, a valkyrie."

Scathach looked at her and nodded in appreciation.

"You seem to have made a habit of getting the most curious people in your peerage, Cain."

Cain just laughed at it.

"Pleased to have you on board, Valkyrie."

Brynhildr was nearing an orgasm when a chain shot past her and then curved towards her body.

Being used to attacks suddenly Brynhildr reacted quickly by summoning her spear and parrying the chains.

"It would be good if you don't ignore me Valkyrie, I am Medusa. Masters pawn."

Brynhildr was torn between retorting to Medusa and maintaining her image in front of Scathach.

In the end her Valkyrie pride won and she spoke 

"I didn't ignore you, I simply was going to greet you after this. And as I said before I am Brynhildr, the rook."

"This is indeed amusing."

Rayla spoke to Cain

"I told you. Valkyrie's are gangirls for Scathach and Medusa is learning God killing techniques from Scathach, which is very important for her."

"Greek gods."

Morgan said and both Rayla And Cain followed 

"Indeed. Greek gods."

"That was splendid spearwork. Brynhildr."

"Thank You!! Scathach-sama."

"If it is alright with you Scathach, can we move forward with my training on how to kill gods."

"No, today's training is finished. You have just started, I will amp up the training in phases."

Rayla was looking at Brynhildr who had suddenly materialised a small notebook and was taking notes about what Scathach was saying.

Medusa was about to retort but Cain intervened.

"Listen to Scathach, Medusa. Her training is not for beginners."

"I am no beginner."

"Yes you are. You have fought on your instincts till now. You can't suddenly master skills, it takes time. And rest is also important."

Medusa was grumpy hearing that but didn't talk back.

"And compared to Scathach-sama and Cain-sama, you are indeed a beginner."

Hearing Brynhildr say that Medusa was growling.

"Why you- Scathach I can accept but I am older than Cain."

"He just fought Thor and won, not to mention he also won against Scathach, so your age is irrelevant."

"Stop riling her up Brynhildr."

Hearing Cain speak with a stern voice Brynhildr backed down.

But her words sparked another person's interest way too much.

"Defeated Thor? I didn't hear about that. If you were going to fight you should have taken me along with you."

Scathach was very much interested in this, is what Cain concluded.

"It was a diplomatic visit. I will be sure to take you next time."

With that the little meeting between the peerage members was over.

"Where's Echidna?"

"With Lilith."

"Brynhildr can meet her during dinner along with the remaining residents."

As the group was returning, Brynhildr made a request to the Godslayer.

"Scathach-sama, can I also train with you?"

Cain looked at her and said "Poor soul. May Big G- oh! Odin save you."

Morgan looked at him and said

"Why are you saying that?"

"Scathach's a brutal person during training. Medusa is determined enough in her revenge to go through it. Brynhildr, well she will learn it the hard way."

"You would certainly know that right Cain? You got your ass handed to you last time you trained with her."

Rayla spoke out loud while snickering

"Oh so that's why you stopped."

Morgan apparently had concluded his defeat being the reason for not training.

Cain looked at Rayla with a look that promised some nighttime torture.

"It was only skill based alright. I win if we fight."

"Excuses! And yes Brynhildr, you can. It will be most delightful if you can join me."

"Another soul had been sacrificed to the training devil."

"It's not that bad."

"It is Scathach, it is."

Brynhildr was now wondering if she spoke too soon.

'Maybe I should have watched a little before asking this?'

Later that day Brynhildr was introduced to Echidna,Lilith, Zeaira, Grayfia,Nyx, Ereshkigal, Vanessa and Melissa.

The interactions went well and everyone was satisfied.

…

"So what's next, a yokai?"

Rayla asked, lying on top of Cain with him still inside her. 

"Nah, next is going to be a knight. But a yokai isn't a bad idea."

"You will end up being known as the collector in the supernatural world if you continue like this."

"Before that don't I have to get back at you for saying about me losing to Scathach?"

Seeing the devious smirk on Cain's face Rayal tried to move but was stopped by the hands on her ass.

"Wait! Cain I am still tired and sensitive."

"Phenex's are known for their stamina if I remember correctly."

"Kyaahh!"

Rayla did not get a wink of sleep tonight. And Lilith had a field day about how she was limping the next day.

'I am not going to talk about him in front of others or maybe I will, it felt so good.'

Maybe the punishment wasn't as much of a punishment Cain thought it was.
