Ch– 45 Aftermath Pt-1

The gate of the fortress opened quickly with the sound of the horns. Only a handful of soldiers wearing the tinted blue armor came back to the place. The night was nor nice to the people in the fortress.

They struggled to keep their eyes open. The medics were running to get help. Paulina was screaming her assistants. The attack to the camps did not go as planned. According to the Captain they might have attacked the fortress.

They were ready for heavy causality here. Instead they had soldiers coming back from the first camp in blood. The numbers were fewer than they expected. Captain Laudren stood in front of the camp looking at the causalities in front of him.

The first group came in with lesser number of people with what they left with. His eyes went around the number of causalities. They managed to take down the camp but the result was not good. His general did not return.
