The sandstorm ended as the sun went down. There were still gusts of wind flowing around. The soldiers peeked from the tent before coming out. They quickly light up the torches. The tents were holding a layer of dust that fell on the ground after just a light tap. The provisions on the other hand were not this lucky. They did not manage to cover the goods before entering the tent. Only the food boxes were covered but the cloth on top of it was already half opened. The soldiers slowly checked the surroundings and started to fix their camp. Losing the daylight made it harder for them to get all the things back to space.
Tom came out of the tent first after him it was Rosa. She blinked while raising her head to the golden sky. The sky looked like a dark canvas with small lines of orange starting from the sun drawn with random strokes.
She sighed as her head came down from the sky to the surrounding around her. “This is a mess, the desert people do not attack at night, right?”
