[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]
In long, desert like fields, several animals and monsters were roaming around, acting as their instincts tell them to.
When suddenly, a loud, continuous roaring of a bus reached their ears.
It scared them all, to the point where they know they should just flee whatever beast was coming their way.
The beast was a massive vehicle with several passengers, who obviously were the group of students whose intention was to clear a labyrinth.
The students were silent and the driver, Hajime was too. Yet he was also looking at a map on the corner of his eyesight.
"So this is the Reisen Gorge, huh..... strangely enough I could still use my skills that doesn't have to be used outside the body. This is better." He said, as he began to search for many hills, to find the specific location of the labyrinth.
When he found the labyrinth, which was indicated by a sign that obviously let him know what it is, he stepped onto the pedal to shorten their time of arrival.
After he had parked the bus, he turned it's engine off and proceeded to take a few easy stretches.
"Phew, that's nice enough...." Hajime said the moment his bones made a popping sound, then sighing the moment he noticed something else.
His classmates that were supposed to be his current party that would clear this labyrinth were apparently asleep, bored of the 2 and a half hours long ride he had given them.
Honestly, he didn't notice they were heading northeast until he looked at the map again and almost slammed his head to the wheel. If he hadn't lost his way then they would have been earlier in one and a half hours.
"Can't help myself, then." Hajime had thought of a light prank for his classmates that he could do just to wake them up here.
So he pressed a button that was nearby him to lightly electrocute the ones sleeping in their seats, forcing them awake immediately.
"Everyone, get up! We have a job to do!" He yelled out.
Yet his classmates were very pissed off because their sleep was ruined. They would even question if he was quite sadistic waking them up like that.
But it didn't really matter much, the job was the only thing he needed to do right now.
And the moment they exited the bus, Hajime immediately stored it in his [Storage Ring], expecting something different this time since magic can be barely used due to forces that disperse mana the moment it is around here.
"So this is the Reisen Great Labyrinth..... Looks pretty normal for one." Eri said inquisitively, before shaking her head. "Hmph. Who knows? Maybe there's traps inside?"
"Anything normal like this might turn into something abnormal." Aletia followed up as she fixed her clothing.
Determined to clear this labyrinth for obvious reasons, the group entered the labyrinth.
