Hua Meili looked bored while eating some snacks and a bucket of mocha-flavored ice cream together with Guo Zhongcheng and Zhongcheng Qingren.

The trio was having the best lazy time of their life!

"Why did you let your brother look for supplies? You already collected enough food supply that could last us for at least 5 years. Besides, almost all the store and markets were already emptied by 'someone' so it will be a miracle that they do find some food."

Guo Zhongcheng munched his chips as leaned lazily in Zhongcheng Qingren's arms.

"Why didn't you tell, Jin?"

Hua Meili finished speaking and then ate another serving of ice cream.

"Too scary, yet cool!" Guo Zhongcheng gave her a thumbs up.

"You're finally showing your true colors but I like it! Since not every person is a good guy/girl it is indeed great that you could differentiate between people who you can befriend and who you should make an enemy of."

Zhongcheng Qingren could not agree more with her words while he fed Guo Zhongcheng ice cream and said sweet nothings to his ears.

Her lips twitch seeing the pink bubbly atmosphere between the two.

She really hates herself for being a single dog.

"I told you before, I'm no Saint. In this world that is already in chaos, the law is no longer useful and killing is nothing important now. You can kill anyone as long as you are powerful and could fight against others. As you said, not all people are good. They could backstab you whenever they want when they deem you no longer useful. Mingque Shui respectfully and humbly bows.

The last thing she'll worry about in this world is food!

After eating, they immediately retired for the night.

The night was peaceful and she slept comfortably and contentedly the entire night.

Waking up the next morning, Hua Meili did her daily routine before going downstairs.

Hua Meili was surprised to see that everyone was already seated in their seats and she was the only one missing.

She immediately took her seat and greeted them with a bright morning smile.

"Morning everyone! Let's eat!" Hua Meili said.

Everyone started eating and were talking silly and foolish things as they eat, the mood was simply joyous.

The harmonious atmosphere among them made it look like the world has still not changed seeing how happy and carefree their expression was.

The world had already changed, and humanity changed but the people inside the Mansion seemed to not be affected by these changes.

It was as if, time stood still for them as an illusion of the days before the Apocalypse pass by their eyes.

Never had they thought that they would find a place that could remind them of the days before the Apocalypse struck and even had a carefree life.

Experiencing this life that seemed to be a dream, they wish that this dream would never end.

If this is just a dream, they wish to never wake up from it.

"Jin ge, are you going to look for supplies today also?"
