"Roar, roar, roar!" The zombie struggled to get up, its blood-red eyes filled with hatred. It let out a series of angry roars, seemingly unwilling to be taken down so easily.
Unfortunately, its body was riddled with wounds, bleeding profusely, and soon it lost its life.
Dennis wiped the sweat from his forehead and let out a long sigh of relief. That was incredibly close.
However, he also knew that without the gun in his hand, tonight's situation would have turned out very differently.
"Are you okay?" Alex asked, coming down from the truck with concern.
"Thanks," Dennis smiled and then asked, "Why did these zombies suddenly attack you?"
"I don't know! We entered the city and found many zombies gathering here. I originally wanted to take a detour, but these zombies swarmed us, making it impossible to defend against them!" Alex explained bitterly.
