•Saint Street Has Ears•

There is a street that is unbelievably warm no matter the season or time of year. It constantly remains the same temperature everyday, even when any other street or avenue is cold. It's a place that ignites faith in all who wander their way through it, a place of holy ground, Saint Street.

Saint Street holds a massively beautiful constructed piece of art that rises through the sky towering over homes and buildings. It reaches it's way towards heaven, glowing under the divine light the sun casts down upon it. Every inch of it radiates warmth that seeps on to the street, compelling people to make their way over to see it's glorious self stand majestically.

With an entrance so wide, and doors so heavily welcoming, many find their way inside such a fine piece of work. Inside is just as beautiful, if not, more breath taking. A grand entrance leads to a wide open nave, that area containing much open space. Rows of wooden pews follow behind one another, facing forward down a grand line. They sit, ready to hear what ever there is to be said. In front of them stands a crossing, that separates them from the chancel, apse, and the presbytery. A high alter looks down on them, casting a shadow of authority and respect. Behind that lays the seat where the bishop sits, the cathedra.

The cathedra is sat tall, spaciously behind the alter. It has small steps leading towards it, showing how important it is to sit upon that throne. The round roofing of the apse sits above it, isolating it from the rest of the church. Only the most righteous and Knowledgeable can sit there, one would have to know the word by heart, and be able to recite it without thinking twice.

There is many crooks and turns in the cathedral, having rooms and chapels vary in different locations. Even stairs upon stairs make their way up towards the ceiling. Different stair cases leads to different floors up above that is mostly crossed off from the public, only allowing the members of the church to enter at will, and even for them, only those with absolute authority such as the Dean or Bishop can tread onwards.

The air throughout the pristine building smells of incense, it's smell lingers in every inch of the place, making every breath that you inhale purified by the smoke that cleanses the objects inside routinely. It smells of warmth and a pleasantly sweet aromatic resin, giving off a spicy touch, and a smoky vibe. It smells so strongly that after you exit the church, the smell clings stubbornly to your clothes and hair, almost soaking into your very skin.

Not much is known about Saint Street and it's Cathedral. The people who have lived in the city all their lives still does not know when it was built, it being that old. Any history that may have been recorded is unknown to the public, for the ones who run the place are all generational, having been born into the life of Christianity, taking on the positions their elders had, leaving it to be traditional and in the family. The ones who run the church are known for their envious beauty, having features of an angel, befitting for their occupation. Their beauty matches their personality as well, them being only kind and patient, willingly to teach whoever crosses their path to learn. Everyone is welcomed inside, no matter what crimes or sins you have committed, even the sickly and dying are permitted to enter. Some times, even the incarcerated visit to confess their wrong doings in hope to be saved. Saint Street is warm for all people.

Saint Street is clean, not even a blade of grass strays out of place. There aren't any litter scattered about, or any insects that dare to make a fuss. Those who walk through is always respectful to a certain degree, even finding comfort in the heated atmosphere, feeling as if they can confess to the air itself, almost like it has ears that can hear them. The unconfident, or the embarrassed who can not seem to find the courage to enter the Cathedral mutter whispers on Saint Street, discovering unbelievable comfort. They say that Saint Street has ears.
