Chapter 2 - Ancient Star

The sun was still out in the sky when right infront of Boss Jian, Yin Su stepped into the carriage with the third young master.

A servant dressed as a guard stood awkwardly at the stall where Yin Su was. Boss Jian could not even imagine how Yin Su was connected with the son of the Royal Princess Zhao and General Fu.

A customer approached his stall asking for a particular vegetable. He snapped out of his world of thoughts and gave one last glance to the far distanced carriage before turning to his customer.

The carriage wobbled slightly and a maid whom was so used to staying with her master unhappily sat beside the guard riding the carriage.

Her young master had never shown interest in any woman because of a particular lady he met many years ago. Third Young Master always carried her hanky with him.

Although her young master was blind, there were many women who wanted to climb on the ladder of nobility and approached her young master.

Her young master, was the third son of General Fu and Royal Princess Zhao— the elder sister of the Emperor and was born in the highest class of nobility.

Third Young Master Fu was not born blind but something happened and he became blind before his fifteen year old celebration. Ever since then, her Highness Royal Princess Zhao sent both the Yin and Yang generals to escort her young master round Jianghu to find a talented or gifted doctor who could heal her master.

Unfortunately, no matter how far they travelled, there was no one who could heal her master. The only solution was the Ghost Sect who was exterminated many years back.

Her young master was to clock twenty-four this year and had lost hope hence their return to the capital to finally settle down.

Who knew that her young master would met a weird woman who dressed up as a man and be interested in her? The only person her young master was infatuated with was a young lady he met many years back.

For years, Third Young Master has been searching for her but up to now, he has not found her. A thought dropped in the maid's mind.

Could this weird lady be the person her young master has been searching for? Impossible! How could he recognize her after so long?

The maid became even more unhappy. If this was the lady her master has been searching for, for so long then it meant that she had no chance to be with her master forever.

Whilst the maid felt nothing but contempt towards Yin Su. Yin Su sat inside the carriage opposite the young master in awkward silence.

Yin Su was in the capital in search for a certain person. There had been someone dropping clues for her all this while and sending people to her.

Could it be him? Was he acquainted with the person she was searching for or was he the one?

Finally, Yin Su thought to break the silence. "Young Master, you said that you know whom I search for..."

The Third Young Master whom had been silent all this while smiled and nodded his head, "Miss Yin Su, do you remember me?"

As he said those words, her heart skipped a beat. He couldn't be him? Yin Su looked at him properly, his face, his eyes were all in striking resemblance to her.

"Fu Fanglie, Miss Yin Su, please address me as A'Fang."

His voice was calm and relaxing, just like the past. Everything was happening so fast that Yin Su didn't know how to take it.

All this while she thought he would be dead but he is alive.

"You were the one helping me all this while, you intentionally led me to the capital city," Yin Su was astonished, that the young man then was actually such a big shot.

"Miss Yin Su, I have never forgotten my promise to you all this years," Fanglie stated, his voice shaking as he brought out a tattered old looking rag – hanky – from his sleeves.

Her heart became heavy, "All this while, I thought you might have been dead but you were all right."

"Marry me, Miss Yin Su, I have been searching for you to fulfill my promise to you," Fang lie said, fear arising deep down in his heart that she would reject him.

Yin Su was silent. Everything had become so complicated. How could she settle down in the capital when she already had a family elsewhere?

But she needed him. Yin Su desperately needed him.

"I will marry you," she replied.

Fanglie sighed in relief, joy arising from the deepest part of his heart.

"Only if you promise me three things," Yin Su continued.

Fanglie looked up, "Anything you ask for, I will give you."

"Can you leave behind this world of nobility and follow me?" Yin Su asked.

Fanglie was greatly taken aback and was about to reply when the carriage stopped.

"Welcome back, Third Young Master," a voice greeted from behind.
