CHAPTER 73 < Darwin's House IV >

From the outside [Darwin's House] appeared to be a wide two-storey building. However, upon entering inside I soon realize that this building isn't so simple. The portion visible from the outside is not the real theater but a section dedicated to things like snack stalls, drink stalls, clothing and shoe stalls, etc. Below those two storeys there is another floor whose vertical size is more than the combined height of the two storeys.

The two storeys are like an indoor marketplace, but are kept really~ clean. No one is allowed to eat or drink near the stalls or there will be repercussions. As for exactly what the 'repercussions' are, they aren't clearly stated.

I think it's a trend these days for las to be so ambiguous. The degree of the consequences are left up to the enforcer's discretion.
