Despite knowing that her words were Rumin's only option, Lisa was determined to sweeten the deal, even if she didn't understand why.
She was the only one free to go and get the ingredients.
"Rumin, you know that we should not delay this trip. The more we hesitate, the darker it will get outside. I should head out now, and you all should head home."
Lisa warned the manager, and he finally sighed and gave up.
"Fine! As much as I don't like this idea, you are the only one I can count on here. Make sure you call me as soon as you finish your trip, alright?"
Rumin asked, and Lisa agreed quickly.
The manager and the rest finally left, leaving Lisa alone with Nisha in the cafe.
Lisa felt uncomfortable in the pit of her stomach as she was left with the last person she wanted to be seen with.
"Nisha, are you not going to head home as well? It must be uncomfortable to be with me after what happened. You should head back to Julie's side."
