The untold

Seated in a coffee house with Miss Lopez, her hands rested on her eyes as she stared warmly at me, just like the first day I saw her. “Coffee?” she asked so sweetly, I wouldn't dare reject it.

“Sure thing,” I said.

Just like a magic wand, she waves a hand, and in seconds a waiter is standing beside her, saying, “We would like two cups of coffee." Her voice is firm and authoritative, and in a jiffy he is out of sight and out of mind.

“Oh darling, I am so delighted you showed up,” she said, stretching her hand as she held mine in hers. Just like the thought of bliss, I found myself smiling back at her. “It's an honor to have tea with you,” I said, not hiding my delight.

She grin with her hands on her chest. “You are so sweet,” she said, still smiling. It’s beginning to seem like it’s a usual gesture, as she reciprocated the same with the waiter who just dropped off our cups. “Thank you,” i replied, whilst taking a sip from my mug.
